http://electioncentral.tpmcafe.com/blog/electioncentral/2007/may/04/is_karl_rove_an_atheist I guess that rules out the claim that he's Satan.
The line...."the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist"......is applicable here. I'm just not sure how, yet.
The overtly religious have no greater claim to either righteousness nor malevolence than the atheistic.
Verbal: Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Keyser Soze.
Ok. Somebody has to say it... Obviously it must be difficult to believe in an intelligent designer when your job is to manage George W. Bush.
Which is another facet of what makes you scratch your head at the fact that these clowns have been allowed to continue in office even after we knew so much about them. The fact that Rove is (perhaps) confirmed as an atheist, while no surprise at all, just confirms how much you hate that guy given his re-engineering of the repugs as a manipulator of the religious conservatives (who are all crazy anyway) to engender, among other things, blind "religious" support of the government...a clear facist trait. EVERYONE is victim of this administration, from a certain point of view, except that tenth of a tenth of really rich people who have their dicks in various orifices of the Bush administration. God this article actually makes me feel bad for the religious right. Didnt think that was possible.
Anyone whose world-view is based on magic has shown themselves to be manipulable and niave. Who is to blame? the wolf or the sheep?
