Finally back home after a long road trek. Looks like we're going to be up against some good ol' fashioned midwestern thunderstorms for this one.

Sounds like there's some very raw emotions from the team having dealt with the death of Gadi...

So, Brody is not good. Is that the simple takeaway?

We need to learn how to do the kind of surgery that New England is doing to our backline.

I did not feel this disappointed in our play on the road we just look incapable of playing at home with ‘control’.

What a change from the first half. Whatever Kerry said along with the changes was fantastic.

Man are NE great at getting through balls behind our backline to wingers. Bit of their strength plus our weakness... The RVs are looking really good right now.

Good point. Yeah, we need to win at home, but this was a team that should have spanked us. Progress that we didn't let that happen.

Not Bartlett's best game but our shape collapsed when he subbed off. I just don't think he's 90 minutes fit at this stage of the season, which double sucks given the Davis and Radoja injuries.

Salloi is looking much improved out there. Wish he would have put away his huge self-made chance, but otherwise his confidence and capability on the ball has returned I think. Thommy looked up for it tonight too.

Team looked like they were still in mourning during the first half. Second half the subs sparked them back to life. Can’t complain too much about the draw, probably a fair result and the second half of the game was certainly entertaining.

Shame that Brody is still at lest a step behind, hope he can step up his game. And Bartlett is still raw and sporadic and somewhat lucky he did not commit a Red card foul. Really felt like mindset of the squad is a prime issue, where progress is slow, but it is progressing. Need some work on managing the emotions and game when they take the lead. But Man it is so much fun to watch this team again! Go Sporting!

Manu is consistently exciting. I love watching him. His first touch is almost always perfect, and his eye for the pass is top class.
The announcer made a point about Shapi: He's full speed, all the time. He needs to slow it up, pick his spots for that. I haven't felt that issue from 8000 miles away, or whatever i am. But for those in person. is shapi too much of a one trick pony. They compared him to Shaqiri, which just seems mean.
When we subbed off Bartlett and put on Rosero, what was our shape? 5-2-3?

Shapi was our best attacker in the first half, but our offense wasn't great. Thommy really balanced our forward line to a surprising degree.

When Fernandez came on for Bartlett (Rosero came on for Voloder I think), he was making "five" gestures, so my assumption was a back five to see the game out.
