I've yet to see a game from Direct Kick. I live in Olathe and have Comcast digital cable. Anyone else not getting Direct Kick but are paying for it?

8 phone calls and still people are giving me the line that it will be on in 10 minutes. No it won't be on in ten minutes. They seemed surprised every time when I call back. Finally I ask for some kind of compensation because this isn't resolved. They offer me $2!!!! On the 8th phone call finally a guy says he is going to credit me $20. This is the same guy that said he couldn't give me more than $2 on the previous call that evening. "They couldn't reimburse me for more than those games cost if divided out for the whole season." So I guess my time isn't worth anything for a service that is supposed to work without my intervention. I'll take my $20 credit, but I'm still upset.

Contact the league. Give them your specific details - who your DirectKick provider is, what their address/contact ph#s are, what your account number is with them, etc...

My Week 1 was screw up by "an internal error" and I was offered that same $1/game credit. My Week 2 was screwed up by having the first :15 of the dc/LA game show up as black screen before the feed came through (I taped it due to other plans). In years past the channels have been "on" 24/7 so that any other game using those same channels was available for the balance of the season. Also helpful menus of upcomming games were shown when the channels were not in use.

This season the Direct Kick channels have been switched to others shared with NBA PPV on our system. The channels are turned off 2 hours after the conclusion of the last game and turned on previous to the start of them, hopefully. Apparently, they were late last week. No bonus games and more importantly no menus for planning ahead, etc. $20 more cost for the "privledge".

If I had to do it again, I would ditch Comcast in a heartbeat and go with DirectTV. My first phone call Monday will be to see if I can transfer Direct Kick over to DirectTV without paying again.

I have Everest and had to call them Saturday night to get Direct Kick going. It took maybe 5 minutes. We'll see how things go this coming weekend.

As with others, I don't see why we should have to call in and tell our provider a service we ordered is not working.

The most distressing part is that you guys are in an MLS market. Not out in the sticks like I am.

I think it's important that each of you contact the league with your difficulties.

    Wizardscharter,

I think you only got it after 15 minutes because I made a call. The customer service rep said they weren't getting it either and he had to look into it. I called back later and he said they were now getting the feed, but I still wasn't getting it.

I have emailed the league. I wonder how many people might have signed up had they recieved their free preview?

Well, in Lawrence, its not even offered (Sunflower doesn't feel compelled to offer it). Still, when it was here, it was unreliable. That is pathetic that an MLS market has so many problems.
