Can't wait for PV to start Shelton again at the 9.

Up until the Ford news I was feeling a bit like the team might offer a real fight in this one, but I'm deflated again.

I like the fight KC has shown in the last (two games), but I have a feeling RSL will make an easy meal of us this time. They had our number so very hard in the playoffs last year, though at least we've improved the pace of our fullbacks?

FiveThirtyEight.com has SKC at a 5% chance of making the playoffs. That was before Ford was suspended. So, for all practical purposes, there will be no playoff games for SKC this year. What should PV do? Will he just keep he same rotation of players for league games like RSL and hope to win enough of them not to finish last in MLS? Or, should he rest his best options for the USOC games for a shot at winning the USOC? It seems the best road to redemption in 2022 is the USOC route.

Gotta go all in on the USOC at the expense of regular season. #PaintTheWall #GetTheDouble

Ok, place your bets on who PV starts as striker:
    1. Shelton - 95% chance
    2. Salloi - 4% chance
    3. Someone else - 1% chance

In good news, Justen Glad is questionable, as is Savarino...

Voloder steps away from Cordova as the threat of a cross develops.

Wow, SKC look really terrible trying to defend headers.

and then it happened again. Not sure if voloder, but SKC players seemed to intentionally step away from Cordova on a subsequent play that ended with a free header just wide.

    kind of amazing really

It’s painful watching this team. I have bailed oof of more games this season than I can recall for some time. Next step is bailing on my ticket package I think.

Can't wait to hear Peter's excuse fest. How this man has a job is beyond me. CBs who can't defend a simple cross. An ancient hack in midfield. This team blows.

Agada is on the bench and Peter brings on Shelton, pathetic!

To be fair, Agada has only been in country a matter of hours.

If he is on the bench then he should be ready to play.

Bringing him presumably was about integrating him with the team more instead of him just sitting in KC.

I’m just glad it didn’t end up being another 7 goal affair like it was in Portland. I think JFR ‘s head would have blown off if that happened.

Russell needs to find his way out of Brody's pocket b/c it seems like every game against RSL over the last 2 years that the two have played Brody has locked Russell down each and every time.

I agree that is a good thing to do but is it necessary to have him dress and be on the bench? And could that "integrating with the team" happen by having him start training and interacting with the players that did not travel to RSL? Why waste days when we need him up and running as soon as possible.

This season is over so we might as well not rush him on. Let's not kill his confidence just yet.
