Speaker Johnson: Don't mention Kamala's race or gender Trump to a black female journalist: My black opponent is not black. Trump really does not like to be questioned by females. And a female of color on top of that. Is this birther-adjacent? Or something else entirely?
He’s such a little babyman. “That question not nice so me no play with you anymore.” How does anyone on earth think he’s a tough guy?!?
What Evan Bayh went through waiting for the VP call that never came. https://www.politico.com/newsletter...ast-with-a-colonoscopy-youre-sedated-00172164
The main thing that Pro-Trump news outlets took out of that interview was 1 they were mean to Trump 2 the path to attacking Kamala is through her race.. shes pretending to be Black but in reality shes Indian. apparently being bi-racial is not a thing.. the mudslinging from the MAGAts has begun there.. cant wait to see the depths that Vance plays along to this given his own children are bi-racial
The interview started out terrible and somehow got worse. First, Trump expected a certain amount of deference and servility from the journalists who were asking questions (fair questions IMHO). That seemed to be what started it....and then went off a cliff. Trump outside of his bubble is terrible at answering questions that aren't softballs or full of glowing praise I would put this on the same level as the "He's not a war hero" but worse becuase a couple of points. The public knows him a lot better. Almost a decade of being a knob. This did not seem to be a friendly audience. At first there was a laugh or two from the audience. There was audible groaning by the time they reached the Harris Indian/Black Q&A. There was pushback from the journalists. And they weren't even tough questions. The first question was "Why should we trust you when you have done and said XYZ?" He has made an art of ignoring the niceties/being a bully and then turning himself into the victim. This time, Fox News is going to have to heavily edit this to make him the victim. EDIT - This is very typical of how Trump operated in his Presidency. He makes a mistake, doubles down on it, the GOP makes up reasons/excuses to provide him cover, and then Trump says or does something to undercut whatever excuse the GOP came up with. I will wait till next week for Trump to pull the rug out of whatever excuses his surrogates come up with this weekend.
I didn't realize that people could change their race, just like that. I wonder what other superpowers Kamila has.
Trump fires Comey GOP: "It's because he'd screwed up the Hillary emails investigation. Not Russia at all." Trump to Lester Holt: When I decided to just do it I said to myself, I said, “You know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story,... ” That was when I knew we were through the looking glass.
Im of 2 minds on this.. Trump could potentially stumble around get triggered and really go off rails. In addition the contrast between the energy and coherence of Kamala vs his word vomit might be a great dunk on the “hes too old to be president” narrative On the other hand, Trump as vile as he is has proven consequence proof.. His idiocy, stupidity, brash disrespectful nature is on par with his brand. Hes always allowed a pass for being an a-hole, not having any policies, or coherent ideas. Kamala dunking on him and seemingly growing flustered or “bullying” to Trump might in some ways “damage” her. She cant make a “deplorables” type slip in the same way Trump can “rapists and murderers” everyone. I truly hope if the Dems are asking for a debate that they are seriously coaching and prepping the hell out of her for all the levels of BS that the orange idiot will bring. Honestly the biggest anti-Trump thing out there is Trump himself.. he and his idiots double talks so much that all you need is a monitor to show his tweets, rallies and interviews to see the vile he spews… Elon Musk is promoting deepfake Kamala Harris campaign ads that uses AI to recreate her voice to say some ignorant stuff…. with Trump those videos already exist without faking or staging anything, keep using that. Ultimately you will never change the mind of the fully “committed”
https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/t...hing-like-that.2129954/page-109#post-42412291 He is getting predictable EDIT: Somewhere out there yesterday, Speaker Johnson, GOP surrogates, campaign staffers and policy analysts were concocting a strategy to focus on VP Harris's tenure in the White House (gaffes, policy decisions, speaking tours, who she met with, etc) when their phones started pouring in with alerts about Trump speaking to a conference room full of black journalists. I am confident that most started having flop sweat before they finished reading that first alert.
Pretty stupid to go in front of 10,000 Black people and not have an answer for "Why should Black people vote for you?" or "What is your message for Black voters?" I guess he thought he could just wing it and then do his jerking off two guys at once dance.
If you (royal) are posting here, you are politically aware. And you (royal) know who Trump is and all about his racism and sexism. But that amounts to about 20% of the population (the well informed). It is estimated that 80% of the electorate is some level of low-information. Now, it is thought that about 80% of Republicans will vote for Trump under any condition. But that remaining 20% is a huge number, and many of those will be Haley supporters. Also a woman and a person of color (who is also of Indian heritage). Lots of reasons to have Trump show his colors to them, many who will be that low-information voter, as a disincentive to vote for Trump (not necessarily to vote for Harris). Additionally, the more that Trump displays his colors in ways that are largely visible and easily able to make it to viral mode, the easier it will be to get that across to those low-information voters. The attacks need to be on all fronts.
He's already answered those questions - he says they should vote for him because he is a felon and sells gold sneakers. What more could blacks want?
