That attitude will certainly win you more elections, lol.

I insist I love the smug tone. You really think you are smart, don't you? You really see yourself as a superior being. It's amazing, really. You guys remain as arrogant as ever despite being humiliated at the polls. America rejects you and your ideology. You are a failure.

    Nazi's?

Even after the beat down she took, her supporters still haven't learned that calling everybody they disagree with deplorable, racist, nazi, fascist, garbage, is scare-mongering rhetoric that is well and truly overplayed.

Scare-mongering rhetoric? That's from the Trump playbook. A silly example ...

What's sad is that with the electorate we have, tactics such as this are effective.

The unfortunate element for me is that it's hard to have a conversation about politics these days, because there is so little basic agreement. In my opinion, Trump is an abomination, a wealthy guy who's bullied his way through life, with mixed success (though in his own mind always successful), making mistakes as we all do (but never admitting them, never learning from them), an affront to women and decent people everywhere, who thinks he can grab a woman and (because he's rich) she pretty much just has to put up with it.

This has nothing to do with policy, with Biden's (numerous) failings, inflation, border policy, international relations, etc. It's the intrinsic quality of the person we just elected ... again.

If you can preface your remarks with, 'Of course Trump is an abomination, but I liked his tax cuts;' or 'Of course Trump himself is horrible, but he's right that we need to do something about border crossings;' then we can start to have a conversation. But the starting point of reference has to be that he's a bully and a misogynist pig.

If you think Trump is a decent person, misunderstood (fake news), unfairly criticized (witchhunt), not a criminal (pardon me) etc, then it's hard to find common ground. Trump is smart, his tactics effective, and he definitely tapped into significant dissatisfaction with the status quo, especially among (young) men. Our country is full of unhappy people who think Trump's election will create the conditions for their happiness. Sorry guys, it won't.

Unless you're perverse, someone who takes pleasure in the pain and misfortune of others. Does the thought of mass deportations really excite you? Separating children from their parents? Oops, I can see that it does, my mistake.

I think we deserve better, much better. You don't, let's leave it at that.

Judging by comments made by the people of Springfield, Ohio, this was happening.

    Strawman + appeal to authority.
Obviously those in control of any institution would never, ever lie to protect their interests or for any other reason.
It is only Trump who lies.

Not true, but truth no longer matters to many people. Though perhaps now I should say most (instead of many).

    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c77l28myezko

"A baseless claim that illegal immigrants from Haiti have been eating domestic pets in a small Ohio city has been repeated by Donald Trump"

But city officials have told BBC Verify there have been “no credible reports" that this has actually happened.

The baseless claim had spread on social media, with Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance promoting it on X. The post has had more than 11 million views.

Elon Musk has posted memes referring to the baseless claims which have been viewed millions of times.

Charlie Kirk, the CEO of conservative activist group Turning Point, said: “Residents of Springfield, OH are reporting that Haitians are eating their family pets”.

And official Republican party social media channels, such as the Republican House Judiciary Committee X account, have also referred to the claims.

The account posted an AI-generated image of former president Trump hugging a duck and a cat with the caption “Protect our ducks and kittens in Ohio!”.

That post was seen nearly 70 million times.

This list is a joke. Promoting national values? So China, England, Brazil, Argentina, Iran, Sweden have no national values? It's so arbitrary you might as well put breaths air on the list. Obama did have a following, big rallies, say they were going to fundamentally change America? Deport more people than anyone? Sorry but i reject your fear tactics and so do more than half the country.

Wait . . . Did one of them bring up immigrants eating pets in Springfield? Seriously?

    Thank you, ignore list.

I mean, the yo-yo who apparently posted the map that shows a lot of red but only bits of blue to prove that people like him are truly in the majority? That’s the sort of thinking you’d expect from a medieval peasant, who at least has an excuse for being unsophisticated. But to be that dense in the 21st century? That took a lot of effort to learn so little in school.

Nowhere does it say "promoting national values". You misread it or are deliberately creating a straw man argument.

And remember, it's not meeting just one item on the list, it is the entirety of the list. And I didn't create the list, so don't blame me for it.

So that police call and body cam video was fake?

You quoting MSM, LOL. It's proven they have zero credibility.

FWIW, I've always enjoyed reading your football-related messages when I get a chance to visit the USA side of these boards.
