You don't have to be smart to use quotes from Hitler - you only have to have a copy of his speeches by your bedside, as wife #2 said he did. I provided you a list several times. One of these in isolation can be explainable, but taken together it establishes a very clear pattern that you willingly and deliberately ignore. He used English versions of things Hitler said (enemies of the people, vermin, poisoning the blood, etc). He said he owned a copy of Mein Kampf. His ex-wife said he kept a book of Hitler's speeches next to his bed. His former chief of staff said he admired Hitler's good qualities. He dined with white supremacists. He had cousins who were literally Nazis. He admires and is friendly with autocrats like Putin, Orban, Xi, Erdogan and Kim. He surrounds himself with people who are using the same playbook as Hitler did.
Just saw a video of "The Avengers" "assembling" to beg nerds to vote for Kamala. Man, seeing billionaires telling regular people how to vote has to be the most cringey thing I've ever seen. The condescending tone, like they can't even hide they think they are talking to lesser individuals, is disgusting. At least Hulk Hogan and Kid Rock don't pretend to be smarter than they are. These Hollywood "celebs" put on glasses and really think they are the epitome of social consciousness. I like how the DEMs think that celebrity endorsement is the coolest thing. OMG these drug addicts/sex addicts/spoiled stupid billionaires endorse Kamala!!!! OMG!!!! I love how people are clearly tired of this shit by this point and yet they keep trying. Hopefully the same happens in Brazil in 2026. Some celebrities here are now blaming BIRDS for the forest fires (funny how it was the president's fault back then, but not anymore since Lula took over).
Here I am wondering if all the GOP senators and reps who won are also nazis. What do you guys think? Should the good people who yell "DEATH TO ISRAEL" be afraid of these nazis too?
It does not surprise me that Macomb County, a place with just a hair under a million people voted for Trump.
I like that map that shows Kamala won mostly in those places that don't require voter ID. Quite telling. It's almost like there was a system in motion to bring in as many illegals as possible so they could vote and perpetuate the DEMs on power.
You do realize the only one who said he was "America's Hitler" was JD Vance, right? Saying someone is a fascist, saying someone admires Hitler, etc., does not mean they are going to be exactly like Hitler in every way. You do understand that, right? You also understand that Hitler did not start with concentration camps, but ended with them, right? You do understand there is a process involved from achieving power to actually carrying out your plans, right? I repeat, the only one who said he was "America's Hitler" was JD Vance.
Good people, both sides! And remember, mlsphilly, the person who wrote that Snopes article was a college student studying for a BA. She clearly did not understand how the Hitler-loving felon speaks with his "weave" when she wrote it.
JD must have changed his mind, because he just ran as his VP. Did you know that? Don't try to teach me what fascim is. You guys made that word completely lose its meaning. To you, a fascist is someone who disagrees with you. That's it. You act like Trump's first run didn't happen. No dictatorship, no nazism, no concentration camps. Nothing happened. By calling him a dictator, it shows how delusional you are because dictators do not lose elections. You have no idea what you're talking about. I am sorry that you have the right to vote cause you are clearly not worthy of such responsibility.
Almost certainly this isn't true, although it may appear to be true. As a core value, Trump only supports himself. All of the rest is open to negotiation. Trump is anti-Muslim, certainly anti-Palestinian. Trump is pro-Netanyahu, which for many is synonymous with being pro-Israel. It isn't. Note that it is possible to be for a cease-fire, for Palestinian rights, and opposed to Netanyahu, yet still be pro-Israel.
Yes, I know that, obviously. The questions are 1) why did he say it before and 2) why did he change his mind? Obviously not because we don't use the term for people who simply disagree with us. We use if for people who do things like: Use English versions of things Hitler said (enemies of the people, vermin, poisoning the blood, etc). Own a copy of Mein Kampf. Keep a book of Hitler's speeches next to his bed. Admire Hitler's good qualities. Dine with white supremacists. Have cousins who were literally Nazis. Admire and be friends with autocrats like Putin, Orban, Xi, Erdogan and Kim. Surround himself with people who are using the same playbook as Hitler did. Tell white supremacists to "stand back and stand by". I don't know many people like that, which is why I don't label everyone who simply disagrees with me a fascist. You act like January 6th never happened. He deliberately and intentionally attempted to end American democracy. And you have rewarded him for doing so.
FYP. Nothing in the intervening years has changed that. Where Trump has succeeded is by tapping into the deep dissatisfaction people feel in this country. But he's not empathetic, he doesn't feel their pain, which he exploited with his false promises.
Here's Lula (Brazil president, ultra left-winger) saying he admires Hitler because he has what he admires in men, "the fire inside to go out and do something."
So? I explicitly said one of the items listed is explainable, it's them taken as a whole that is indicative. Now add to it the understanding of what fascism is: 1. Extreme nationalism - check (MAGA, America First ...) 2. Militarism - check (wanting to use the military to suppress BLM protests) 3. Placement of national interests above those of the individual - check (Covid, for one example) 4. Advocate for the overthrow of institutions they view as "liberal decay" - check (wants to get rid of Department of Education, "fake news", January 6th ...) 5. Promoting traditional values - check 6. Supremacy of certain peoples - check ("stand back and stand by", Charlottesville ...) 7. Persecution of other groups - check 8. Cult of personality - check 9. Seek to rally massive crowds - check Based on the evidence, we can safely deduce that Trump is a Hitler-loving fascist. Just because you support a fascist doesn't change the fact that he is a fascist.
