Who speaks more about this trans and pronoun stuff, though, Dems or GOP? From my vantage point, the right obsesses over it in egregiously overwrought terms and amounts. Jordan Peterson makes a career out of a law in Canada he says will put people in jail for using the wrong pronoun, yet it doesn't and absolutely no one has been put in jail. No, no, no. The problem is narrative. The right lies. They lie about what they are about and, most importantly, they lie in defining what the left is about. The problem is it is effective because simple, dumb ideas are the easiest to relate to folks. So, scary trans people and pronouns are an easy way to affect voters rather than relating why different people aren't the threat. The only thing is the Latinx one. That one is stupid and insulting, not at all culturally respectful.
And one I rarely (never?) see used outside of academia, to be honest. And even within academia I do not encounter it all that often. I imagine the people complaining about it are exposed to it less than once a month, if even that.
You guys act like you're winning elections on a regular basis. This is one cycle. An economic downturn and your red buddies are back on their ass again, in spite of any trans and pronouns ads. Fear is a temporary motivator. Regardless, what I'm saying on this matter is true, whether your understanding of it is "delusional" or not. I think you'll be surprised at how much being trans isn't as much of an issue in the upcoming years, for example, and the non-delusional idea of "let people live as they want" will prevail.
So I’m curious, why is it that what works for Trump didn’t work for Kamala? What is the root of that double standard? And I think I’m fairly aware of what motivates the average male voter, I just think some of those motivations are bullshit rooted in their own biases and insecurity. Maybe what the Democrats need to do is start pandering to those insecurities like the Republicans do.
I don't ever remember Dems interrupting my football weekends with incessant ads about them. Republicans are the ones in a tizzy, making laws and protests in front of hospitals. That's your guys' obsession.
The country spoke. Trump made you guys sweat in Virginia, made New Jersey a swing state, cut the dems lead in New York compared to 2020. Nobody gives a fcuk if the democrats spend a billion on your campaign to trot out out of touch celebrities twerking on stage and wonder why you lost. Completely out of touch. Being so dense that you have people claiming Latinos are voting for their own deportation, because of course you guys think every Latino is here illegally.
I'm guessing you guys will go back to wherever you came when the mid-terms roll around and the shit show MAGA will cause the next two years gets them rolled in 2026? What will be of all your sanctimonious explanations then? America spoke, yes, but this isn't the final time this will happen. Be careful on the perch you've placed yourself because the political winds will knock you off in a heartbeat.
I hate people who don't support the US men's national team and post on US politics like they're Americans.
AFAIK it originated in Puerto Rico in some academic papers. You know patriarchy related. Maybe that's not where it originated, but I wouldn't doubt it did originate in within one of the Latin communities and not some brain child of some American non-Latin academic (although that's not out of question). But I'd give a pass on that. Mind you, I dislike the term myself.
No doubt you are. Of course, the hospital protest was a complete bust in my town because the local idiot trans-obsessed Matt Walsh lied about what was going on. Sort of fitting for a side which is dumb enough to worship a political figure in this day and age.
Hate, hate, hate. You Americans mess with the entire world and now you don't want us discussing what happens inside you? Come on! Chill, dude. Enough with the hate. We have more in common than you might think. Do you support any teams in Europe? Do you know any Brazilian teams? Let's share our experiences!
I think Matt Walsh will end up saving many lives. Great dude! Have you watched "Am I Racist?" already?
That wasn't me you were trying to quote. But Trump already packed the court with right wing nutjobs. Try to keep up.
I understand your irreverence when things are going well for you this week. It will be interesting to see your attitude change when it's not your week, if you show up then, at all.
