My dog has to be put down. It's a bitter sweet week. Looking back - he was a fairly insane. School shooting in my nephew's school district. He is safe, but all the schools in the area are in lockdown. Multiple injuries and the injured were taken to the hospital where my mom happens to work. Crazy.

I've read conflicting reports over the years regarding potential reserves. I think Dutch drilled in Bosnia years ago and stopped their operation because their findings weren't good enough. Either way, the political instability, plus Bosnia being one of the most difficult and corrupt nations for doing business doesn't bode well even if large reserves are discovered in the future.

We've talked before about how homophobic Bosnians are. There was an article on klix on LGBT people and how they face violence within their own families. As expected, most of the comments are awful. This one caught my eye as probably the worst of them. So I went to the guy's profile and, yes, he has a Srebrenica profile picture. It probably will never occur to him how those two views are contradictory. And since he posted on a public page with his (presumably) real name, I didn't feel the need to blur it out.
