    Katia managed to get herself a couple of 1st place votes for 2002 FIFA player of the year (from France and Japan, I think they were her only votes). Well at least we know they follow the stats from WUSA.

    Julie Murray managed to get a 2nd place vote from Fiji!!! She deserved first!!! Doesn't anyone remember her spinning helicopter goal from that Akers cross in the final!

    Way to keep up Fiji.

    from Akers? When were Akers and Murray on the same team? :confused:

    WOW!!! I wasn't even fishin' and I got me a big one!!!:)

    They weren't on the same team CC. I was making a joke about two retired players being voted on as players of the year.
