Curiously, why is Cannavaro getting a rest and not Thuram also?

Maxwell isn't making a good impression on the Juve scouts, he's been rumored to be a transfer target for Juve come the summer.

IN my opinion i didnt think that this game was that exciting and i also thought that zlatan was kinda dull. He just didnt have that magic he has so often. And i think camoranesi plaed good but its a shame he got that yellow now he cant play next cl game. Anywho im happy we are still undefeated it is a morale boos for next sunday vs. Inter which i think we should beat with ease.

1-0  fine, but when you guys have a bad game conceded 2 goals, i don't think Juve are as strong in attack to overcome in such a situation

Juve has a good enough defense that they don't need to score bucketloads of goals. I haven't seen many teams this season get more than 1 past their first team. They certainly used their defense effectively beating Bayern 2x.

No wonder the fans don't come out to the Della Alpi stadium, they're playing a very boring style of soccer. I watched about 5 minutes of the game but quickly changed back to the Man U game! :(

I generally agree with you. Still there is something to be said about Juventus' style of play. It provides a very consistent and effective means of winning. Look at AC Milan or Inter. They are both more entertaining teams to watch (at least I think). The problem comes is that they are very depended on a few players. I could see Juventus doing fine even with injuries. Imagine if Sheva and Adriano got injured, it would be a dark day in Milan.

They're lucky to win both Bayern games indeed. In the away game, Bayern had an absolute valid goal but the ref didn't see that and a stupid mistake by Kahn. if that goal had been accepted, the situation might have chanced. ;) NOt to mention Bayern at that time and now are different as they had problem to find a proper tactics in midfield and the strikers hadn't scored a goal in many games.

Now 5 games 17 goals, they'll beat juve if they meet again. ;) Magath finally settled the role between Ballack and frings and the great emergence from 20 year old striker Guerrero (7 goals in 6 games), the up front is on fire now.

Let's see, they've already qualified for the next round of the CL. They're resting many starters for Sunday's game against Inter. It was freezing out there. Yeah, I could see why they weren't really motivated to put on a great show.

Don't make a decision based on a meaningless game. Having seen a number of their Serie A games this season it's safe to say they're not boring.

No offense but the final scoreline is all that counts. Not to mention you guys need a new keeper. :D

Five straight 1-0 wins. Gotta be some sort of a record there.

You sure that had nothing to do with Cristiano Ronaldo?

Play defensively like that and not boring  , let's see how Juve can contain Inter tomorrow, could be either a pretty match or another boring game, it's all on Inter hands now. If they manage to put in an early goal, then the game will be wide open :D, because it's not usual for Juve in this season to play when they're down 1 or 2 goals and have to chase behind.

It would be interesting to see how they react in this situation
