It could be a high-scoring affair. I hope Milan can obsorb their attacks with some efficiency and if we get lucky we wont concede anything. We got a tast of Depor's defence against Juve so I pray MIlan can keep their form and dish out the needed pressure.

Juve's backline is terrible at the moment. I think Juve are gonna play bunker ball against us on Sunday. They can't afford to stretch thier aging defense against the best counter-attacking team in the world. I think Juve are really cursing themselves now that they didn't clinch a deal for Stam because they desperately need a top class central defender.

    Well said.

Stam said in a recent interview that he loves SerieA the best out of all the leagues he has played in (EPL and Dutch). He also said that he enjoys playing at Lazio, doesn't mean he wouldn't leave for more money...wink.

    Bring on the scudetto!

    Juve 1 - Milan 3!

Goals from Sheva and two from Seedorf! Great victory for Milan, I'll let the fortunate ones give the match detail (where are you guys seeing these games?!)

    AC Milan 3 : 1 Juventus, Fulltime!

Seedorf gets two goals, as Milan shredded the Juve defense. It's now just a two team race with Roma and Milan for the title.

I don't even think it's a 2-team race. Roma only picked up one point today, putting them 7 points off the pace.

    What a very important win!

Where are all the Seedorf haters? LOL....jk. He looks pretty good when he bags 2 goals.

I agree with Sue...7pts is an awful big lead to overtake. If Roma was seriously challenging for the title, they would have went all out vs. Reggina, which I just happened to catch the 2nd half on the International Channel.

So it is official, boys + girls. I have seen just about every major club in Italy: Juventus, AC Milan, Roma, Lazio, and Inter Milan.

We still play Roma in May in the San Siro. Hopefully that will be a final nail in the coffin.

First half...Juve really dominated play, with Milan on the counterattack. Nesta got hurt, that really worried me...hopefully, he won't stay out too long (big games next two and a half months)...but we have cover with Costacurta, and Pancaro has been playing out of his skin lately.

Sheva with the goal, from a good cross from Seedorf (indeed, who's talking crap about Clarence now??) and though Inzaghi (who else) appeared offside, gotta luv that passive offside rule to make Sheva's goal legal (hell he was screwed by it in last year's champions league final...so it all evens out now). Juve still attacking, and i considered it fortunate that we were up 1-0 at halftime.

Second half...we play with more confidence, and control the ball. Our possession game is second to none in Europe, and I think the World... Camoronessi still flies around like a bug, causing nuisance, but Nedved, DiVaio and Micoli as a sub are snuffed out by a superb Gatusso, Pirlo, Seedorf in the midfield and a great backline in Maldini, Pancaro and Costacurta.

Cafu makes the darting runs causing fits for Juve's defense, and eventually, another counterattack leads to Seedorf taking a shot (which i was begging him to take) which, wickedly struck, deflects off a Juventus defender and past a diving Buffon. 2-0 to the good guys...

Finally, Seedorf seals the deal with an excellent sweeping counter, with Sheva pulling a defender away, the pass made to Clarence, and the Dutchman shooting an even more vitrolic wicked shot past Buffon that nearly rips the net off the goalpost.

Disappointing to leak a goal with 10 minutes left, but no doubt, Milan left Del Alpi with the Old Lady sapped of confidence.

Only Roma left...and since our Copa Italia and League wins already on their minds, the only team that can stop us now is ourselves. Barring a Lazio like meltdown of a few seasons ago (where we ironically pipped the title), the scudetto is very, very close...I can almost taste it....

FORZA MILAN!!! FORZA MILAN!!! FORZA MILAN!!!

p.s. I was in dreamland with the win, but it would have been perfect if we continued the shelacking and won 5-0 or 6-0, in revenge for the win Juve had at San Siro back in 97-98. Hec, if Sheva and Inzaghi would have finished their chances it would have been that scoreline or even better!?!

How it must have felt for those Rossoneri fans that made the journey away....awesome is the word!

    FORZA MILAN!

Excellent question. Seedorf might not be the fastest or humblest guy out there, but he is a hell of a footballer.

seedorf was the man of the hour Imo
i watched this match and he had a great passing game, he cooked one juve defender on the left wing in first half with a dummy move, and his two goals were well taken, he is brimming with confidence.
special praise also to dida, gattuso, kaka(2nd half he was taking the piss :D ) pirlo(love those raking passes) and maldini, who looked very good.

Sheva is the real deal, i hope everyone thanks God for this guy...

I thought othervise. Juventus had more of procession., but Milan could have been leading 2-nil by half-time. Sheva waste two other chances in the first half..... 1) he got a cross from Cafu and shot wide.... 2) a breakway after a pass from Kaka.... with three Milan players wide-opended and he shot high.

In the second half, Inzaghi shot wide after rounding Buffon for an empty net.... I admitted up until Seedorf's first goal. I was nervious. AC Milan waste chance after chance..... I was disappointed with the 1 goal lead.

the commentator made some comment ' you can see the diffrence in quality and technique in these two teams, but juve are more battling side and milan the more technical. ' this comment came in 1st half before halftime

also noted many injuries to juve players
