Quick question for Juve fans. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the line-up of the Juve team that played Real Madrid in the 96 Champions League game. That was before Zidane joined the team, correct? Also if it interests anyone that game video is available at Eurosport which is why I'm asking this question. Searched on internet and couldn't find an answer. Thanks for the help.

Vs Real Madrid in the quarterfinals, you mean?

Off my head, the lineup probably included these: Peruzzi, Ferrara, Vierchowod, Jugovic, Deschamps, Vialli, Ravanelli. In the final, looks like all these guys were in except Jugovic, who came on as a sub. Torricelli, Pessotto, Conte, Paulo Sousa and Del Piero were the other starters in the final. Probably wasn't much different in the quarters.

Real beat Juve 1-0 in Madrid but Juventus won the return leg 2-0. I'm pretty sure Padovano scored the winning goal in Turin, but I don't know if he started or was a sub.

Ok, here is the lineup from the 1st leg:

Peruzzi; Ferrara, Carrera (77' - Pessotto), Vierchowod, Torricelli; Lombardo (46 - Padovano), Paulo Sousa (65' - Jugovic), Deschamps, Conte; Ravanelli, Del Piero

    And the second leg:

Peruzzi; Torricelli, Porrini, Vierchowod, Pessotto; Jugovic (46' - Di Livio), Deschamps, Conte, Del Piero (89' - Marocchi); Vialli, Padovano (73' - Lombardo)

Torricelli received a red card in the 79th minute (Madrid was already down to 10 men).

Less than a year ago, while in a hotel room in France, I saw the highlights of the Juve-Nantes semifinal on Eurosport. I'm not a juventino, but for some reason that Juve brings back a lot of memories...
