    Games

    Napoli (a)

    Palermo (h)

    Lazio (a)

Tough sleding this month for Juve.

    History vs. Napoli

    10/11

    Napoli 3 Juve 0
    Juve 2 Napoli 2

    09/10

    Juve 2 Napoli 3
    Napoli 3 Juve 1

    08/09

    Juve 1 Napoli 0
    Napoli 2 Juve 1

    07/08

    Napoli 3 Juve 1
    Juve 1 Napoli 0

By far the toughest game for Juve in this Seasons Serie A campaign. A win would be lovely but I just hope to see a Juve on the pitch in good form looking for a win

Oh and Napoli's new mascot has arrived :)

nov. is tough but december is easy...which is also good for the end of the season because the same games repeat 2nd half of season. So if we need points at the end of the season, at least last 4-5 games will be relatively easier teams.

HOWEVER...biggest issue is we do bad against bad teams and good against good teams. lol

those 4 ties were costly...we coulda been 6+ points clear on top and cruising if we at least won 2 of them...we just dont close out games as good as we should. I hope we can fix that but also another thing is other teams can learn how to beat us as well.

In older forums, I found a post about an article which listed the points per game of Juventus coaches in last 35 years:

Right now, Conte has 2.11 points per game so he is in good company. Let's not bash our results too much and enjoy first place. If we kept getting 5 wins and 4 draws in our next 9 matches, I'd be pretty content. God knows we could be in much, much worse place right now.

no doubt result wise conte has done great so far, its just that we all know we're not COMFORTABLE about our results so far. Each game could've gone either way really.

We just need to keep playing the possession and pressing game like we have and more so in the second half. A few earlier subs would help with the fatigue late in the game.

Alex and Daei, my post wasn't mean to say "oh, Conte's doing fine." I am a bit uneasy about how some of the results have gone, especially those where we dropped points after conceding late. We should not settle, by any means, for what we've achieved thus far. I'm just saying, it's a positive start from the fledgling coach. I hope we can build on this start and continue to improve.

i think we're all on the same page davey ;)

yes i dont like how we change up 2nd half...most people are impressed with juve when they are pushing but when they settle in 2nd half is what no one wants to see. In the milan game, they pushed and pushed til last min to get the winners but when we score early we just sit back...i cant possibly see us going far with that tactic

We fall back one hour on Sunday in the US, which means that we will be in the normal zone of separation with Europe. For those of us on the east coast, that means a 6 hour difference with Italian time. For those of you on the left coast, that means 9 hours. So if it is the Sunday night match, it should be 2:45 on the east, 11:45 on the west.

Hey guys, i'm new in this site. However, i'm a Juve fan since 1994.
Ok i know i'm late to talk about the last games and about Juve's performance. But i wanna say that Juve is doing well, and Conte is so good so far!. But he has to make his changes sooner than usual.

If we win Napoli's game, I will be able to imagine the old lady winning the scudetto.

It is a big game and I hear this sentiment on both sides of the fence but don't fall in the trap. Yes it would be the biggest win of the year for Juve if it happens but alot can happen and its a long long season.

As for Conte you feel his subs are too late? possibly but you have to admit he has been using his bench every game be it late or not. I first appauled him from getting away from his tactics to field the most talented team on the pitch. I'm so happy about that as I feel that tactics should always come second to managing players. I think his biggest downfall so far is getting his team to play more of a Catenaccio style after getting a one goal lead. I don't think this team has the horses at back just to play back with the lead nor any team should do consistently as Conte been letting them.

Oh and welcome to the board

First of all thanks for welcoming me between you guys. Well i agree in some of what u have said and i disagree with some. I agree that conte is doing well and I also mentioned that in my first respond. However, I admit conte uses his bench every game. But if you enter 2 players after the 80th minute, that;s unacceptable. They are not gods to change the game in 10 or less minutes. Del piero's entry against Chievo is an example to what i'm trying to say, also against inter!.

So u think we have no chances to win the league even if we win tomorrow's game?

Whether we win, tie, or lose, its still way too early in the season to tell. Still gotta see what we do in the winter market.

If Juve win Sunday its very convincing I agree but its such a long season. Anything could happen so just sit tight and enjoy the season. I'll just say this I haven't enjoyed a season like this for a while and I'll just do that enjoy it and will enjoy a Juve victory in garbage town.
