From the highlights though, it looked like Cagliari played well defensively in the first half.

Le pagelle di Juventus-Cagliari 4-0: Ronaldo domina, bene Cuadrado ...

    Ronny was on fire!

Too bad he is turning 35 next month. I wish he would have come to Italy 5 years ago.

The first goal did come off a defensive error that was caused in part by the high press, a staple of Sarri's system.

The second goal was created by Dybala who had liberty to run at the defense in the box because we had so many numbers in attack, again, another staple of Sarri's system.

Cagliari quit thereafter? Please, give it a rest. If they quit it was because our boys demoralized them, which you need at least in part to credit Sarri for.

I'll be the first to admit that I would have expected better quality, more attractive and more fluid play under Sarri in general but it's foolish to shit on Sarri after they beat the 6th place team 4-0. As the other poster stated your posts are devoid of any reason and just an attempt to shit on Sarri at every opportunity.

Wow, some of you on the defensive. Don't be blind. We got Sarri ball in that first half just like he likes it. It was shit. But the goals were not created by beautiful soccer under the Sarri system. His tactics is for us to play these cute little triangles at about 10 yards or less where the ball moves from one triangle to another into the penalty area for a chance to score. That has not happened yet.

Astute play by Ronaldo on pouncing on the flat pass from the Cagliari defender. Dybala took on four Cagliari players on his run when he got fouled. The third goal was a counter off of a corner where Ronaldo set up Higuain. The last goal, another quick run. We look our best when our players are free to do their thing. Not when they are controlled by the Master.

It's silly to critique a manager after his side wins 4-0. As with any match, the results are a combination of the tactical set up and the players' execution. It's silly to suggest the players did exactly what Sarri asked in the first half and completely disregarded his instructions in the second half.

We dominated play from start to finish. The only difference between the halves was that we managed to score in the second half.

It is silly to be blind because the result was 4:0. If not for the defensive error, this could have turned out be another 1:0 or even 0:0 match. The problem is still there. We are not scoring or even creating that many great chances with this system. As has been the case all season, individual play has provided the difference. The first half was boring as hell but played to Sarri perfection. It was nil-nil.

But it didn't and we mauled Cagliari. It's an odd time to render this critique--not to mention that the error was caused in part by the high press which is a staple of the Sarri style of play.

What has changed of late is that we have Ronaldo back in form. As a matter of fact, he is scoring at a greater rate than he did last season despite a less than stellar beginning of the season. If Ronaldo keeps up, then Sarri will look a lot better, just as Allegri did last season when Ronaldo carried the team.

We defended well. Could have scored in the first half. Held the other guys. What’s not to like? :)

Can you imagine if Dybala had an attacking midfielder??? He hasn't had one since Palermo.

Pjanic gets a yellow for a stupid foul just outside the box after a poor pass from Bonucci, who has been having a rough start to this game.

If they hadn't scored the yellow vs red card would have been a huge issue. Still is imo.

They want the 2 points on Intermerda.

Vazquez + Dybala was a great partnership. Costa could fill that void if he was fit, but yes we've done him a disservice by playing him as CAM and not having a proper CAM behind him.
