Shevchenko for Di Vaio. Days before the Milan match, Braida asked Moggi for the forward offering Sheva in return. Lazio is said to be also interested in Di Vaio.

Del Piero is about to sign. Despite Moggi saying the contract will be signed in June, the sides have reached an agreement. Alex will get $5M and will retain his image rights.

Champions League money for Camoranesi. The qualification to the quarter-final gave Juve the money to get Camoranesi's Verona owned half. Verona is asking for $8M, but Juve is offering $5, $6 could be the sweet spot.

Trezeguet contract. David asks for 5M, Juve is offering 4. The two sides are definitely close to an agreement that will be reached by June, with the mediation of GEA.

Would you take Shev for Di Vaio? I like how it is now.

My first reaction was "in a minute", but how old is Sheva getting to be now?

No kidding, I though Di Vaio was much younger still. In that case, make the deal immediately!!! :D

My sources at the San Siro tell me that Milan are very interested in Marcelo Salas and are willing to give up a package involving Nesta, Seedorf and Inzhagi.

Shevchenko is far superior to Di Vaio. If Milan were stupid enough to want to swap him for Di Vaio, Juve would be insane to decline. But Milan certainly wouldn't do anything like that. Di Vaio is good, but not on the same level as Sheva.

A few years ago West Ham had the chance to sign Shevchenko, but then manager Harry Redknapp said the following "Well he wasn't pulling up any trees" and with that he returned to Dinamo Kiev and then Milan.

What the hell does "pulling up trees" mean? I assume it meant that no bribe was offered.

    Shevchenko to Juve...WOW!

Do you think Shevchenko will be in a Milan shirt next year?

I don't, but a move to Juve wouldn't be out of the question, at least now he is pulling up trees (whatever that means)

i heard edgar is most likely not coming back, but you are saying they are close to a contract. i think i heard a swap to inter for cannovaro (sp?) or some deal like that, but besides that one i just heard its not likely that he will be back.

Keep dreaming boys and girls. Sheva is going nowhere. Berlusconi and Sheva have a close relationship so I can't see him leaving at all. Plus, Tomasson and Rivaldo will both be gone in the summer. So, if all you dreamers are correct and Sheva is leaving then Milan will only have one striker in Pippo for next season. I don't see that happening.

I can see Tomasson going, and probably Rivaldo, but you can never tell in Italian football.

    Strange things happen.

Davids: Gone - maybe Man U will sign him and sell Keane.

You got that right. In fact didn't Keane say that a couple of days ago?

What about Mark van Bommel to Juve?

I really really would be glad if this works out:

Chievo star Nicola Legrottaglie has told that he wants to join an ambitious club.

"I know that many top teams are following me and I'm flattered, as this means that I'm doing well," he said. "But now I only think about Chievo. Let's wait another month, now the situation is in stand-by and there is no news."

The player has been linked with AS Roma, Juventus, Inter and Milan.

"Any of those four would be ok," he continued. "But honestly, when I was a child I was a Milan fan. However, all I want is a top team, one that fights for something important, with more ambitions than Chievo."

He added on Fabio Capello's Giallorossi: "Roma is always a great team, even if they didn't go well this season."

Most likely he will go the the premiership. There have been many offers already from England. It looks like Milan won't have anybody from Denmark next year as Laursen and Helveg will both be gone also.

Milan Lose Tomasson For Three Months

AC Milan striker Jon Dahl Tomasson was operated on this morning in Varese as a result of the shoulder injury he picked up last Tuesday at AS Roma.

A statement released on the club's official website www.acmilan.com this morning announced:

'Jon Dahl Tomasson underwent surgery this morning at the University of Varese. Paolo Cherubino was the operating doctor who repaired the dislocated shoulder suffered in the Roma vs Milan match. Recovery time is between two to three months, barring complications,'

This injury leaves Ancelotti without a valid offesnive alternative for Wednesday night's Champions League showdown against Juventus

Well at least it's good news for Juve...

back to the transfer rumors though. Juve is rumored to be releasing Salas and allowing him to go to River Plate on a free transfer for the rights to Cavaneghi (or however you spell it).
