Now when he returns he can say he was on the same field with Lewa, Sane and Gnabry.

Don’t think anyone expected that outcome (the match that is. totally expected Che to stay on there bench).

In the game! 77th minute. Looks like playing right back in a 3 man back line

Hoffenheim has fallen flat on its face. They were fighting for a Champions spot not long ago, but now they'll be lucky to hold on to their Conference spot.

That was one of the worst all-touches video I can remember. Good lord, does he need playing time. Decision-making was terrible.

He’s there for another season, right?

Hoffenheim just parted ways with their coach.

Wonder if Hoffenheim just outright buys him and loans him out

He needs to be getting minutes at CB if that is the position he wants to play. Richards had Bayern 2 to play at when he came over. Che has not played cb since north Texas.

It‘s hard not to think that both Reynolds and Che would be much better of if they had stayed at Dallas for another year.

I mean Reynolds bank account is much better off but, ya know.

I think both moved too early. Especially when neither Reynolds or Che have had a set position for any length of time.

There are exceptions (like Richards and Scally), but the best path is generally to dominate at home, win, develop roots domestically, make yourself known so foreign teams understand you, get a wide range of teams interested in you so you can make the best pick.

The Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson, Alphonso Davies, Tajon Buchanan model tends to work the best.

It's always risky when a player leaves to a team that is just taking a flyer on him.

Watching Che at FC Dallas in 2021, I didn't see someone who was ready for the Bundesliga.

loaning a loanee is dumb and last attempt to do it failed and player never made it at club.

and now according to newer reports from today, no loan. Looks like perm out aka axing loan.

In preseason 1 of Hoff 1st team vs RL, Che wasn't good at all tbh. Left tons of space open and his dribbling failed, also got beaten on speed too. Was playing RB.

Didn't impress anyone and even fans brought up topic of he's nowhere near 1st and that he needs match practice....but issue is that he's on loan to club. And this was a week before all this loan/perm out talk.

next 2 matches was left out, that basically means didn't last preseason with 1st beyond stage 1.

Issue is Hoff has 30+ players, they can't all make squad and regular matchdays is 20. His sponsor Seb Hoeness is no longer Hoff coach too.

The many young professionals in the TSG squad should develop. One or the other probably at another club. Melayro Bogarde (20) is a hot candidate for another loan to gain match practice. This also applies to Justin Che, who is only 18 years old and has been in the Kraichgau since last winter. The central defender from the USA is absent from the training camp. "He has to play in a different environment. It's not enough for us at the moment, but that's no shame," says Alexander Rosen.
