The team never made an announcement, because there's the off chance that they'll be back, but Burnsie, Peter and Q were all in option years, and the Wizards/MLS did not exercise the option.

Q needs to play. He can't get the time here so it is best for him to move on. Vermes was a class act.

Burns.... thanks for..... the chip you had on your shoulder. That is the best I can do.

Does this essentially make McKeon a "free agent" or is it still possible to trade him and get something in return?

Cause then you'd come on here and tell us all on the boards, which MLS reads, it would end up on some web sites, and the Wizards probably dont want that. :)

For what it's worth: At the Crusader's meeting last evening Gansler spoke about all the players satring with #1 Meola and worked his way up through Talley Goode. He never mentioned Burns, McKeon or Vermes.
