Amazon ships before the release date. I believe if you use overnight shipping it SHOULD be there on the release date.

I'll just go to Best Buy after work on the 3rd and pick it up -- the demo is quite good.

I really miss the funny and sarcastic commentary that originally drew me to the game in 96. Back then, it would have random comments, such as "It is really an odd time for a match" when you start a game at 4 am :)

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of moves? This is the biggest drawback of the game -- I have no idea what all of the buttons can do. I hate how EA lists "lobs" at button 8 (for example), yet I only have A/B/C/X/Y/Z etc.

For example, a double-tap of the lob button gives a low cross, which I've only figured out with luck.

    I'm playing it right now.
Good game. The ball physics are one of the biggest improvements.
I still can't tell wtf my player is going to do when I do a stick/button combo, but I'll figure it out.
    More to follow....

Yeah, that's my problem. I saw one hint, while the game loaded, that I could do a stepover (or some other move) by hitting left then right on the right stick. However, it rarely worked. I couldn't figure out if I had to be running, if I had to click the "special" button (whatever that really does).

Just got a job with a bigger salary than I thought so I'll probably purchase FIFA 07. One question for those who have it:

When you win a match, do you get a necessary amount of cash? In 06 I thought the money was too low and downloaded a patch.

Depending on the answer, I'll get an Xbox (can't download to it) or a PC. Thanks.

I wouldn't get the 360 version -- it has fewer leagues and isn't coming out for a few more weeks.
