Matija Frigan to Parma from Westerlo is at the final stage for €9M. Contract until 2030.

Frigan's a CF. Tells us nothing about whether Parma have withdrawn from the race, such as there is, for Reyna

That said, Parma's transfer business is conspicuously low on AM and CF signings. They probably aren't ready to cut bait just yet.

Well they should at least have some funds for the last couple of millions for Gio.

if he’s on a private plane, why not just fly to Parma?

I see Parma signing or trying to sign a lot of players and don't know most of them. With what they would pay to bring in Reyna I'm assuming it's a good thing so that the team is stronger and there is enough depth where he doesn't get overused and re-injured. Hope he found whoever had the voodoo doll with pin in it and took care of it so he can finally stay healthy.

LOL. I will believe it when he is literally in a Parma uni. Until then?.... I would wager he is languishing on the BVB bench.

4350 or so minutes since 2019 is only 48 total game time minutes ....

48 games in 6 years is only 8 games/year of PT (with club) ....

On one hand - that is just not good for his career ....

OTOH - he is still young ... and his legs and body are relatively fresh.

And he has been paid a nice chunk of change so far - and he is now married (stability) ...

for the fans - so far - the sky is falling ...

but for Gio all it takes is one good situation and a stretch of playing time and everything could be just fine.

keep in mind that most pro players only have so many miles or years on their legs ....

Gio might just be a late bloomer and he perhaps he will have a long career.

Just trying to point out a possible silver lining to all this.

    we shall see.

The new coach wants a 3-5-2 formation, a pure 10 wouldn't work, especially in a relegation battle. They also need to find a new CB.

Huh? A 3-5-2 is a formation that actually has a #10. What am I missing?

The BVB begins the final preparations for the cup clash at RWE. Süle starts with the rehab program. Reyna remains in Dortmund – but the poker game continues

A #10 who doesn't press much or have to track back out of possession would be my guess.

Then again, there's a reason why we don't have those any more. Even Riquelme essentially failed in La Liga and he was extravagantly gifted
