I don't know if the loons on PoliForum are into this yet, although I'd bet Dan Loney believes the Olberman rants, here's a little info. You know, like, FACTS. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...19&u=/ap/20041106/ap_on_el_pr/voting_problems
I have seriously made an attempt to listen to 1230 AM in the last couple of weeks. You know, the whole leave you're mind open to other thoughts kind of thing. Two items that I have taken from it: 1) Franken is not as much of a liberal douche as I originally thought. He does make some well thought out arguments and often times is level headed. 2) Stephanie Miller is a liberal douche. Each and every time I have her tuned in, she goes off on a 20 minute rant about vote tampering. It is some pretty crazy "math" she uses because I have heard her go from less than 4,000 erroneous votes to Kerry winning by 7.5 million people (all due to Republican vote tampering). Regardless, the only way that I can see getting rid of these types of vote problems is to get away from an anonymous vote. Have all registered parties listed as to who they voted for, or against, and have the list open to the public domain. However, that would obviously be another ploy by Big Brother Neocon in an effort to steal more of our personal liberties.
But his radio show is boring. That Randi Rhodes chica is the same way...douche. The way to do it is to have these machines actually print out a card that says "this is who I voted for" and let you scan that to accept all of your votes and record it electronically. You then submit the paper copy to the ballot box in case a recount is needed.
