Just Curious, where exactly...

Discussion in 'Chicago Fire' started by krhoffma, Jan 3, 2003.

  1. would one get up to the minute news on the Chicago Fire, when/if a trade, move or other transaction happens? Do we really expect that the Score or AM1000 are going to know (care) about it and report it?

    We need a soccer ticker!

That place would be a little site called:
    BIGSOCCER

It doesn't get more up to date than this website.

(the only problem is deciphering fact from fiction).

This is a little bit off topic, but I don't know where to post this. Does any Fire fan know where I can download the drawings for the proposed Arlington Stadium last year? Jeff Bradley had it displayed, but it quickly disappeared and I can't find another. It looked like a nice venue and very possible, something I'd like to have in my hometown.

Actually the Score reported the Dema-Mapp deal so we'll just see. You'll have to put up with Mike North though.

I won't be surprised in the least bit if they report it, it just won't be a "stop the presses" kind of deal.

And I think Joe Bartosch is in to do the updates every 30 minutes coming up. He's a big soccer fan.

They did report it at 6:30 and of course they made a snide comment well you know what happens next in about a year and then they kind of hinted the team would fold.

Eff em. Not worth our time, trouble, or venom on such a day. This is not a day for sports radio.

Don't pay them any mind. We know what he means to us, and they can shove it.
