i believe its a refference to Frankie hey-dude Heyduks affinity for the move, could be wrong though.

That's what it is. Heyduck likes to use stepovers a lot. Only problem is, he's not very good at it and seems to do them at times when they're completely unwarranted, so much so that on Bigsoccer it's his calling card.

That's because Frankie does it 90% of the time when he stands in one place and is making no attempt to go around his marker.

Dempsey, having a bit more soccer savvy, does it while moving forward.

Arjen Robben or Ronaldo do it at full speed.

He does them at full speed too. Just happens that it's when he's running down the flank and no defender is within 20 yards of him.

    Positive things about Hey-Dude:

I like Frankie. Although I don't think he'll be in the Starting 11 in Germany, I do think he's very valuable in helping us get there. He has a tremendous work ethic and is relentless on the pitch. He can run all day long and then some. Finally, I love his intensity. I'm thinking back to the Panama game and after what I think was the first goal, during the celebration, he was more excited than anyone else out there. That guy gets fired up! Gotta love it. ;)
