I thought it was unfair to bring him onto the team so late into the season with no training camp and no chance to click with his teammates, especially considering he hadn't played in at least a few months.

You wonder if the result would have been different if he had been with the team from the start of the season.

Juskoviak could have been a good fit if we had a stronger and more dynamic midfield. He needed others to make things happen, as a target man and finisher. As it turned out, he was a horrible fit on our team. You have to question Bob's judgement in bringing him over here as much as you question Jusko's talent.

More cap room! When are we gonna start to make some real moves? I live for the day when our team isn't 50% undecided a month before opening day. I don't want to hear the word "gel" this season.

I didn't see him play that many times, but from what I did see of him, I got the impression he just had a tough time playing on the turf. He always looked a step off and I imagine it's a pretty big jump for a guy who has played on grass all his life to step in and play matches on turf.

Doesn't Franz Beckenbauer have any kids we can babysit?

...or heck, grandkids for that matter.

Well the new FIFA tranfers rules will require our roster to be basically set by March 1st. As such, we should have a good feel for what the team will look like by then. However, it also means that Bradley won't get to look at as many players in a training camp setting.

That rule doesn't apply to free agents... Hint hint.

I would be happy if Bob just used the cap space on some free-agent A-league players. A team made up of Woly type players could do better than a team made up stars and scrubs.

It's funny his name fits perfectly in this sentence

quote: Andrzej Juskowiak wurde heute nach erfolgreichem Vertragsgespräch verpflichtet.

I truely believe the reason for Jusko's bad play was due to the fact that he hadn't been playing for a few months prior to joining us, and like cmonaco said, he needed service, which our midfield just could not provide.

That said, I hope we can upgrade our flank players in the midfield so that we can do something besides attacking up the middle all the time......Amado and Rico are set in the middle....we need consistent right and left wingers.....so we can vary the attack......so Magee, Woly, and Gaven can but some bulges in the old onion bag.....
