Hungary will be without their top two keepers for their home game against Latvia.

    Final results:

    Scotland 1-1 Germany
    Rep. of Ireland 2-1 Albania

A huge draw for Scotland and now both Scotland and Germany are tied on 8 points apiece but the Germans have a match in hand. A very late own goal gives the Irish a huge win which gets them back into the race in Group 10.

    Not much predictions left... :D

Austria is surely not going to win at Moldova. I expect a Moldova win. Maybe a tie.

I expect Holland to lose 3-1 but I hope not. I fear Holland will play a lousy 1st half with Belarus becoming dangerous all of a sudden in the last 10 minutes a couple of times. One of those times will see a home goal. Right after the break Holland attacks like crazy, is close to a goal two times but Belarus scores from a counter 7 minutes after HT.

Then the orange storm breaks loose... but no goals. Hardly any real chances. Until Kluivert fires the home the 2-1 from a big scramble in front of the Belarus goal. The 2-2 seems to be a matter of time, but as the clock ticks on Holland gets more nervous and makes more mistakes. This leads to the 3-1 in the 84th minute.

And if that won't be the scenario we just win 0-2 in a boring match.

If my prediction is right I shall be named 'AFCA king of big soccer' though.

And I predict an easy win for Holland, 3-0. If I'm correct I will be named miko, king of bigsoccer.

38th minute now. Terrible football. Holland a bit more chances, but other than that the teams are in balance.

I'm trying to stay awake. Need coffee.

You need Prozac, not coffee. :)

Surely Germany failing to beat their much-derided coach must bring a warm glow to your heart?

I was hoping that slovakia would do us a favour and take afew points off turkey.
But I was disappointed when I saw the conditions in bratislava and the scoreline.

When we played in slovakia we played in torrential rain ,on a ploughed up pitch in front of hostile 30,000 crowd on a cold winter night.

The turks played to an empty stadium ,on an improved pitch on a sunny evening...
ooh cheers slovakia for creating such a "nasty" atmosphere.
    what a joke.

A very interesting matchday indeed. The two biggest shockers to me have to be Finland's romp over Serbia and Greece's win in Spain. June 11th will answer even more questions...

Some early - although no surprising - decisions:

    Group 1:
Malta finishes last ranked, Cyprus has no chance to qualify directly.

    Group 3:
Moldovia and Belarus have no chance to qualify directly.

    Group 4:
    San Marino finishes last ranked.

    Group 8:
Andorra has no chance to qualify directly.

    Group 9:
Aserbidjan (?) has no chance to qualify directly.
