Does anyone know if they have an international game that day too? If so, that means the Quakes will have to play short of Donovan and Mulrooney right? Thanks!
yea they should be over in france for the confederations cup. They are scheduled to play Brazil that day. They will more than likely miss the 18th game vs the Galaxy too
damn that sucks! I think they would need donovan and mulrooney, especially against the galaxy. hopefully ching and the rest can hold the galaxy down though.
The Quakes are going to be without Donovan and Mulrooney for perhaps all of June and July with the Confederations Cup and the Gold Cup. I looked at the schedule and they will be out for the confederations cup utnil the end of June and then the gold cup starts the middle of July and goes to the end of July and I dont know if they would be able to play games for both Bruce and the earthquakes, because some of the games are on the same day. Plus they have miscellaneous games with Paraguay and New Zealand during the summer also. Looks like the Quakes are gonna have to replace them for awhile, kinda like last summer.

No, it's not definite. Arena has announced who will be called up yet. It would be a shock of major proportions if LD was not called up. But it's likely that Mulrooney won't be because Arena will have access to the Europe-based players as well as MLS players for those tournaments.
