June 14th USA vs France

Does anyone really believe the "new coach" isn't already doing the job? Silence has been defeaning.

 

If it's Ellis they should have named her the same day. Why wait? This notion that USSoccer hadnt spoken to her about her interest before they fired Sermanni is ridiculous.

Again, USSoccer should have given Sermanni these games. U sit him down, tell him what everyone sees as "culturally unfit" and tell him he has Canada and the brace against France to prove he is the man for the job. If the team handles those two teams it pretty much blows the theory it isnt progressing well. If Sermanni loses in those matches u have the perfect scenario to fire him for cause.

What they have done instead is thrown the new coach in an awful position. Welcome to the job...u have four days to get the team on the ur page for France. I guess if it is Ellis then she had Canada as well but wouldnt u want the team to know she's the boss before the Canada camp? This is likely the toughest three match string they have left this year and they wasted it.

 

Sermanni was fired 13 days after he replaced Jill as first assistant.

 

I sort of got the impression Ellis was only filling in as first assistant to be Gulatis spy.

 

yea, it was my impression Jill was appointed to this position. I'm sure Tom approved, but I believe I read she was put there by US soccer.

 

I was disappointed the one of these games wasn't scheduled in Chicago like was rumored.

So I said to myself, well...their not going to outsmart me. No-seree. So I booked my flight yesterday to Tampa.
So now I'm in dept again chasing another USWNT game around the country.

But what I am going to do is lay out on the beach in Clearwater for 3 days and thaw out. There will be a puddle of water around me from the thawing, long ,Chicago winter. Maybe what made me put my credit card down is the fact that it is May in Chicago and still cold. Unbelievable. I gotta get away to somewhere warm before I go mad.

 

Same very disappointed not to go to Chicago, looking at flight and hotels right now and public transport to the Stadium as I don't drive

 

Florida keeps getting friendlies but the roster isn't populated with Latin players.
San Diego got China but very few Asians showed up for the game.
South Cal can't get a NT game nor a NWSL franchise but has 33M people.

 

Perhaps they arent trying to attract waiters and waitresses to the fan base.

 

Excuse me, that's actors, actresses and screenplay writers to you.

 

All of whom really just want to direct.

 

Hey... we have other professions here too. Such as PA to actors, actresses, and screenplay writers. And whatever the heck it is the Kardashians do.

U may also be chosen to coach the US team. Since Wambach is pretty sure they already know how to win I think they should just pick a fan coach out of the stands before each game. It not only gives us a fresh, exasperated face on the bench each game but saves USSoccer a lot of severance pay

 

im pretty sure this is a better line up than the real one you imagined, the only bad players are wambach, s mewis and rod
