KIROVSKI IN CAMP WITH USA FOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIER VS. The second leg of the series will be played June 20 in St. George's, Grenada, with the team scoring the most goals over two games (aggregate scoring) advancing to the semifinal round.

Kirovski has made an immediate impact on the Galaxy since coming to the club from Birmingham City of the English Premier League prior to the 2004 season, scoring five goals and adding an assist in just nine matches with the club. Kirovski has played 61 times for his country's national side and scored nine goals. His most recent appearance for the red-white and blue came in the USA's 1-0 defeat of Mexico on April 28 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.

According to Jeff Bradley in his Firxt XI column states that LA will be missing Kiro (US Nats) and Marshall (Jamaican Nats). So is Tyrone healthy enough to return to the next match after this? And does Guatemala also play this weekend? If so, will Ruiz be called up if he's healthy?

Also states that Chicago will be missing Marsch (ankle injury) Armas and Beasley (US Nats), Ralph and Williams (Jamaican Nats) and Selowane (Botswana Nats), but the Fire website states that Selowane will be available this Saturday.

With this many players missing, it'll be a probably a wide open game, hopefully it won't be a repeat of the last match.

Yeah, it's the battle of the bench-warmers.

But we know that our bench can kick butt...but, the Goons have no idea what they can do.

BTW, where'd "Goons" come from? For that matter, where did "Fire" come from? Please tell me they are not references to the mob and to the fire that destroyed half the city...cuz that would be stupid-funny!

The nickname "Fire" apprantly was from the great fire of 1871. "Goons" is shortened from "Chicagoons".

So if it's the battle of the bench, who's better? As for the D, do we see Broome or Lewis start? And if Grabavoy is healthy, does he start or does he sub?

Sorry Rock, I'm still getting over the fact that the Chicago team are named after a FIRE that burnt down the city! It's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

It's stupid like naming a Californian team the "Earthquakes" or something...

    oh, oops.

Tyrone is not with the Jamaican squad. There's an article in today's Jamaica Observer about him.

Also, both he and Danny are closer to their return. There are actually a couple of local articles today. I've posted them on my Blog.

PZ, you are instantly cool by saying "my blog."

We need either Marshall or Califf back, no doubt. However,

Is it just me or has Hartman looked a little flat as of late. I only say that, with guilt, because I'm used to him stepping up big-time at least twice a game. I mean, with only a few shots on our goal the last few games, should we be scored on this much?

I swear to god Bo must have stolen your wife or something. But since I don't imagine Bo stealing anything, maybe you were beat up by some Koreans at school?

I agree that this is probably what we're going to see. Unless Thug Life can go, in which case I'd assume Bo is out. Or if Sigi decides to give Thompson or Aloisi a shot (but I'm not betting on it.)

Hopefully, we see Grabavoy get some time in the midfield as a second-half sub. And Memo and Torres if the situation warrants it.

Man, it's nice to have depth.

P.S. Dammit!, Bo couldn't have stolen Treetaliano's wife, because the Treet never leaves her alone for too long, and Bo isn't quick enough to slip in and seduce her. He's not that fast...

Hmm...we tend to play good after a loss so... I think we come out strong.

I just checked our stats. Albright has the most minutes played and Herzog is 2nd. And Suarez is in the top 5. Excluding Hartman of course.

That's a lot of minutes for : a) a newbie at the position b) an old(er) dude and c) a defender who looked too erratic to start.

But we have tried a lot of different looks so far this year...

Suarez stills scares the crap outta me. With that thingy on his head, he should be known as the Mad Hacker.

The sooner he gets back on the bench, the better.

If Suarez starts, hopefully he plays with control and not lax defending. If Bo plays, he better be positioned right where he doesn't get burned easily. Yeah, it may be wishful thinking, but don't we always wish for things? Califf and Marshall are still questionable and may not start on Saturday. Saragosa's got to show his presence again by stopping the attacks and winning possession.

    Dear Galaxy fans,

I have a solution for your problems. Place Suarez in one chamber and Bo in the other. Start up the transponders and presto:

    BOREZ!!

Bring them to me and I will begin the process.

    Sincerely,

The dude from the "The Fly"

Yeah, he does play on the edge and you are never sure what you're going to get. But, while he has been reckless at times, he has also made a number of brilliant tackles. Its those flashes of top notch soccer that keep you coming back, and with the injuries LAG has had on the backline I don't know where they would be without him.

As to the headgear - did you see that Shannon MacMillan was wearing the same thing in the game against Japan?

    Hey

    Goddamn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Wish Detroit Had An Mls Team.. And We Were Playing Them Right Now.

Just So They Can Beat The Shi+ Out Of Us. Because Like The Lakers The Galaxy Believes Their Own Silly Hype, And Doesn't Take Any Team To Seriously.

The Outcome Usually Ends Badly For The Galaxy, Kinda Like For The Lakers.

Someone lives in OKLAHOMA and has way too much FREE TIME on her hands.

Time to go watch the Galaxy kick Crapcago's arse! I hope Razov plays so the Fire fans won't have too many excuses for losing.
