I don't know if people just didn't like the idea or it got lost in the shuffle, but here's my suggestion for an easy inexpensive Tifo idea from the Shitcago thread. Factory Card Outlet has 300 ft plastic tablecloth rolls for about $20. I'm now thinking if we can get 4 black and 2 yellow we can cover the bottom of the sections in a black/yellow/black barscarf like Tifo.

I won't buy it all, however. I'm in for a black roll, ZipSix is in for a black roll, who else is in? Need 4 more people willing to throw in $20.

I'm down for a roll. If you get low on people in. I could maybe go down for two rolls.

    Good idea.

Do you think that two whole black rolls will completely fill up 139 and 142 though?

And what kind of store are you getting them at? I could just buy one or two here and bring them with me to the game.

I'm setting Friday as the deadline for letting me know.

Ryan would you be able to go to a FCO or simular party shop in your area and get the roll(s) yourself? I bet if FCO has it, then other do as well for around the same price.

I don't think it would be more then 300 feet between 142 and 101 and 139 and a part of 140. Each seat is about 16" to 18" there are 20 to 30 seats per row, less so in 142. We can always move things centrally if it doesn't exactly cover all the sections.

I think the hardest thing is getting 6 people to buy a $20 tablecloth roll.

Yeah I bet if they are at FCO, they have to be somewhere else as well.

Yeah man. I'll look and buy some. There is a party store in Meadville I can check out. I'll run the idea by some of the podcast guys before we broadcast on Wednesday, maybe Blake or Jericho would be down to buy a roll.

We have all week. We have three. We only need three more. If we only get two more. I'll buy another roll. Shouldn't be too hard.

I think the hardest part may be getting enough people to hold them up. I'm thinking your thinking on holding them out during the walk out. Maybe there will be enough people in the section then since it's Chicago. Hopefully.

But, I'll show up as sober as I can be for this one and try to get everyone organized to put them out. Even if I have to get in front to tell everyone to unroll them and get it organized to unroll them at the same time.

Just need to show up Chicago. So I'm with you on this.

I work 7-3 on Wednesday. So I'll do a little looking after work. Then I get paid on Thursday so I'll buy my roll's that day if we get enough other people locked down for it by then.

Should be easy to find black roll's, not sure about yellow's. Hopefully as easy.

Btw, did you guys get Kaiser's idea to kick it up a notch. I like it. Why not? It's the F'in Fire. Hope he decides to re-post that in here.

I was also thinking about if we had an artist on our hands. Or stencils we could spray paint something on the rolls like "Nordecke." Or "Our House."

Yellow spray paint on the black rolls. Black on the yellow. If that's something everyone likes. I'll look into buying some spray paint and some stencils or something, maybe an artist in the groups. Maybe ultra.

My paycheck isn't that big this week, only worked 30 instead of 40 hours, so we'll see on that. If we get six individuals on the rolls then maybe I can do that. I can spend 40 bucks on this, maybe 50. Maybe a little more with a loan from the parents.

I'll post my idea once we've discussed it a little more through PM. I also need to ask Mrs. Kraut how much she is willing to let me spend on this weekend. :D

I think if we get six people willing to spend 20 and if we throw in a couple other touches, I can spend a extra bit, 40 might be the cut off I spent way too much last weekend, I need to get out of the Arena district afterwards, and maybe more then six want to chip in then it will be a nice project.

But, also don't need to get ahead of ourselves. Simple is a good start.

Definitely could be the start of something special, if we can get moving on myshap's idea over the next two days and throw a couple of your's and my touches on it. I think it's a definite that we accomplish something like this, now.

Even if it's just the six rolls. I'm sure some people will have some streamers and the saab's on hand to culminate with that. I have a saab and even with one of those coming out from underneath the cloth would be a cool effect. Along with I think a few people with streamers above the tableclothes throwing them onto the section with the tablecloths while we are chanting something, "columbus."

And, even if we don't even put those together with that. It's a start, a way to build confidence in projects like this. Got to start somewhere. But, I think your touches are easy to add, kk. I have a saab and no one will find me underneath the tablecloth. :)

And, yeah the paint idea is probably too much. The rest is good though. I'm going to bed. Looking forward to hearing what everyone else thinks tomorrow.

Hey, as for the chant, how about we take your print idea and put it to voice.

Use the "This is our house" chant while the display is going down so that we set the tone from minute 1 that the F*re fans aren't going to come in here and think they know what's up.

Anybody have a stuffed toy dalmation?

    Lol, yeah sounds good.

Yo, so you on board for a roll at least kaiser? That means we need to find only two more.

I'm thinking Zip and I have 2 Black, Crewfighter and Kraut the two yellows, and Chelsey Black. We need just one more Black Roll for this to be a go.

Also CF, I hope this isn't asking too much, maybe come in an hour and half earlier from Ruby's so we can go inside and get things set up. My plan is to have them unrolled and unfolded, that way we can see exactly what we are dealing with and adjust as needed.

As for painting a message on it, I don't think we'd have enough time for it to dry and plastic isn't the greatest thing to spray paint on. Kaiser's idea is fine I think, realistically we'd only need one per section underneath.

Do we have peeps with a crate of streamers for this match? Is that one discount place able to ship things quickly? Or should we all just go raid the dollar store/walmart for streamers and do it that way?

I'm sure I can afford a yellow roll and a few misc. items. Crewfighter, if we're getting the yellows, we need to make sure they are the same color. Black is easy to match in this respect, but it could be easy to mis-match the yellow (different brands will be slightly different, or if you get canary yellow and I get school bus yellow or something). So here's my proposal. If somebody agrees to this, I will get both yellows so that they match, and then the other person can just split the bill with me and pay me at the stadium/tailgate/parking lot. Is that cool? CF, do you want to spend on the tableclothe, or do you have other tifo needs you're going to put your budget to (assuming one more person at least offers to chip in on the tableclothe costs).

How are we going to cut it? Will simple scissors work? Last time we dealt with these things they were especially finicky.

How about I get there an hour early. I work 6 to 2. So I won't get to Columbus til 5:30, hopefully. I'll have like two beers and I'll drive over to the stadium at 6:15. That should be plenty of time to set up.

No, I have nothing else really planned to buy yet. If that changes I'll just add it on, I definitely want to buy a roll. Especially with the talk that I do nothing. I'll just show up at the stadium at 6:15 and give you a 20 for it while we are setting up.

Btw, you don't have to buy two rolls yourself and wait for me to pay you during set up if you don't want, you could just tell me what type of yellow you are going to buy and I can probably match it on Wednesday.

But, if you want to buy both and just have me pay you back when we are setting up that's definitely cool. Because then I don't have to pay for parking, I can just walk over early from Ruby's.

But, either is doable for me.

I'm fine either way. Just tell me how you'd prefer to do it and we'll go with your final decision. Buy seperately, or not?

I hate making decisions. Somehow I would probably mess up the colors and get the wrong yellow.

So if you buy both now, I'll give you a twenty when we are setting up before game and buy you a beer at the stadium for your troubles after we successfully put this baby up.

    Does that sound cool?
