Well, the Dallas MBs are predicting victory.

With Cassar minding the nets again, I say KC 3 - 1 Dallas.

Arnaud with two goals. Wolff with one and an assist. Klein with an assist.

Who will be at Coaches'? I might, just might, try to come. Gotta check the family agenda for the day.

The way the defense is playing, I wouldn't be surprised if we can get another shutout. Tony is a man on a mission to prove to all that he should had not been overlooked for the all-star game.

How about going to Mike's instead of coaches. I'm tenitavely planning on making it to Mike's.

    I say 2-0 KC.

Well, the last defeat will most certainly still be fresh in their minds. It'll probably be brutal in Dallas this week, and I'd like to think that our team is as fit as any. I'll be interested to see how Bob plays this one. Dallas is a much better possession team this year than they were last year, but we'll probably still press forward more on the road this week than we did last week at home. Dallas will be motivated to get at least a point to stay ahead of SJ so I'm guessing a 1-1 draw. Goals by Wolff for us, Nhelko for the Burn.

I don't think this game is even on tv. IF so there won't be a watch party.

Even though Colorado should have won tonight, the draw means we're three points behind LA with two games in hand.

FYI, Nick’s braids are gone. Now it’s back to the long hair…

Practice today saw no Igor and Shavar Thomas stretching and running half the time rather than being with the team, not sure what’s up with that. When they did the subs vs. starters scrimmage it looked like they tweeked the formation a bit. Maybe I’m just slow to catch on but it looks like they were playing the starters like this…(I don’t have my notes in front of me so if somebody is on a different side of the field than they normally play, its just my fault.)

    Josh-Davy
    Burciaga-Klein
    Diego-Kerry
    Shavar-Nick-Jimmy-Alex

Jose was defiantly not playing defense, defiantly more of a midfield attacking role.

Since it is on HDNet I don't know if Mike's will be able to show the game. I could be wrong. Does anyone else know?

I do like Mike's. Last Saturday's pregame party was a blast. I can see going to Coach's for HDNet and going to Mike's for the pre-home game festivities.

LA is playing like crap and still geting results. Not sure COL needed a keeper tonight. Spencer looked just plain awful all night long. Chungy's back and in good form. Bonus card for Ruiz on the dive. The good part was the card. The bad part was that Ruiz used the yellow as a free pass to cuss, complain, dive, bitch, and whine for the rest of the game. Where's a ref with balls evough to pull the second on a cheap call late in the game.

Maybe he'll keep it up over their next two games and miss the 24th. :)

Speaking of which, check out LAs schedule. They're going to be a ton of games ahead of everyone for a while. No wonder they're in first place! ;)

Everyone I think this is going to be more of a lower scoring game. Its Dallas in July, and it'll be like 105 on the field. I say 1-1 tie as we get one in the first half and give one away late due to the heats effect on the physical and mental focus. Lapses will occur for both sides. Again Cassar is no chump and is the reigning PotW so his form is back. Plus they'll be at home with Gibbs back and their Simo which are two quaility players they didn't have last time. Lastly, and I said this last Burn pregame, it seems like Kreis always finds a way to score on us.

LSN can't thank you enough for being the KC forum field reporter. I'd buy you a beer but you're not old enough. Maybe a Coke then eh? Props to you.

I'm going to be at the watch party at Coach's. I'm also going to be at the Futbolito event on Sunday (hurry up and register if you're interested).

If you all have any questions or things you'd like to talk about, I'll be there with an ear, taking notes. I'll do the best I can to address your concerns and thoughts. I'll try to bring some free swag, but no promises.

wish someplace around here carried HDNet, but I'd have to drive to Saint Louis or KC, and well, it's just not worth it to me. I'll catch whatever MLSNet has online.

What do you think it would take to get that sports bar downtown to play HDNet? The name escapes me right now, but it routinely plays like 10 different NFL games during the gridiron season.... I'll see if I can't figure out what the name is and see if they'll carry it. Columbia in summer is fairly quiet, I doubt many would object.

Just checked out the MLS site and it looks like there will be no video or audio feed of the match. :( I might be stuck at home with the kids if my wife has to work, but if not I'll be at Coaches.

perhaps a silly question, but MLS Freekick doesn't show the HDNET games do they? Or is that feed picked up too? I was planning on ordering it in a couple weeks now that I have a digi box, but might go ahead this weekend...

Does Freekick get any cheaper as the season progresses? Since we're about 1/2 way into the season, shouldn't it be 1/2 cheaper? I'm a working (wo)man now with money to spend on things like TV channels ;)

    Directkick, my bad.

Oh F., it doesn't matter anyway. Mediacom doesn't carry indemand. AT&T did, but I forgot medicom bought up my market and stopped carrying indemand at that time. This sucks.

Last year they offered a half price package at midseason. Don't know about this year.

Direct Kick does sometimes pick up HDNet games, but they are usually on the schedule the week before the game. That tells me that KC won't be on this week. But there have been times when games just show up on the schedule on Friday/Saturday when they weren't on the online schedule origianally.
