I don't know why you bother with people that are obviously trolling. I mean the guy might not be ready, but his coach is not unfamiliar without evaluating soccer talent. I know that nobody gets it right every time, but guys at Pepe's level get it right more often than not. There is a reason he wants the guy around the big team early in the season. He may end up going back to the reserves, but there are only two or three places in the world you can go to have that kind of training environment daily.

People who come to a Julian Green thread to say " quit hyping the guy,.. LD is da boss." Obviously has an axe to grind.

Yes definitely loan him out. He is probably good enough for a lower Bundesliga team.

The bus turned the wrong way on a one way street.

First, the MLS loan window closed yesterday. Second, there's numerous options and levels between a club like BM and coming to MLS. Some would be better for him, others worse. But I'm fairly confident BM and Pep have a decent idea what they're doing.

And frankly, Green needs to be at a more tactical club in a more tactical league than we have here. His movement is already a cut above most of MLS.

I don't think it was actually, but if it is the Bayern team bus then the bus is still right, and the signs and the other vehicles are wrong!

I have a question about multinationals being fifa-tied to a country. If Green (or Brooks) did not actually play in the WC (and thereby make their first official game appearance), and instead just sat on the bench, would they have been fifa-tied to the USA?

Green had to file one-time switch to represent us, so he was ours regardless.

For Brooks, you are correct. Until the World Cup he was not cap-tied, and would not be yet if he never got in.

Thanks for clearing that up. Didn't see anything in the media about that.
Thanks. So when JK surprisingly put in Brooks instead of Gonzalez when Biesler couldn't go the 2nd half, it was partially a coach's decision and partially a cap-tying event.

I don't think that was his thought process. It was pretty simple a left footed central defender for left footed central defender.

That is so awesome! I really hope Julian Green just keeps getting popular. Maybe one year ESPN will air all of the Bayern games haha

Jeez their intra-squad sessions ought to be enough for anyone to get better (or get creamed). And since Julian is in the group shot, he's clearly not been getting creamed and is going to have the opportunity to get significantly better. He's surrounded by Goetze, Lahm and Shaqiri. If good things rub off on those around you, with time, the skies the limit for Julian. This ain't news to anyone, but this Bayern squad is filled with ridiculous talent.

Man, that's cool. If he ends up being as good as any of the players on the right side of the picture, he will become a legend.

That Bayern jersey reminds me a lot of Barca. Have they had that color scheme before or is that new for this season?
