    Crossing fingers...

The semifinals will be played in October and his recovery time was originally estimated for this month. Unless he has a fallback, he should be available for both games, but the question remains if he’ll be in rhythym to play such intense matches after being sidelined for 7 months. Hopefully he’s able to get some playing time in the upcoming league games (Huracan, Velez, Gimnasia) before the copa

Really happy he's close to being back, but hopefully they take it slowly, so many players push too hard too early and end up getting hurt again, gotta build up slowly mentally and physically after such a bad injury.

Him and James back soon will be nice tho prefer Just Quintero get called next round of friendlies. James needs to win over Zidane and even tho he is our best player we need to learn how to play without him

Quintero officially out of contention for the first leg of the Superclasico semis

    :(

Hopefully he gets fit in time for the second leg, given the 3 week break in between the two matches due to international FIFA dates

I kinda thought something like this would happen. He has never been known for his fitness before his injury so it may be a longer journey just to get back into playing shape.

Easing him back slowly is best. Never want to rush these things especially when he is at a creative position that opposing DFMs will try to hatchet down with karate kicks.

It's a recipe for disaster for them to rush him into a game like this. He's been out a long time with a serious injury, he's gotta ease back into it rather then ramp up the adrenaline and pop something. Glad he's not in the squad, want to see him but want to see him fully fit and for a long time.

Very good news. Let's just hope that this horrible injured won't hurt him too much and that he'll be able to return to his great form from 11 months ago. This is a great timing to return slowly back to action before the Copa America.

And he didn't look rusty. Out of shape, yes. But he was just as dangerous as always. Nearly had a gol off a free kick and an assist,

Good to hear, hopefully he builds his fitness gradually and doesn't rush.
