He is hotter than both Santos Borre and Suarez. And playing in arguably the the best League in the world.

He has never really had a true real chance with the NT. You cant tell me that he is not a competitive player. At least more than Borre

I think the overwhelming majority here will agree that Cucho > Borre

The games where cucho featured for the NT under Nestor have been meh.

With the current players who have fitness/injury concerns, it’s hard to say where Cucho fits in the equation…

Cucho is the closest comparison to Luis Suarez too, Suarez is a bit bigger but they both have an all round game, can drop deeper and create for their teammates and aren't just target players but good footballers. He never got tried as a 9, and we're playing a guy at 9 who we can build around Cucho should have been given a chance and Lorenzo shouldn't be so stubborn with shoe horning guys he likes or doesn't. If you're going to take 3 strikers and Duran is being a bum I think it should be Suarez/Cordoba/Cucho based on current form and how we want to play, Cordoba is fine and works hard but a dynamic front 3 of Diaz/Suarez/Gomes with Cucho as a back up for me is how we should be trying to line up and do away with the James false winger, play him 30 minutes as a 10 in midfield and he runs and defends or he's not usable.

Players like Borre has had so many chances and still are there...
why not give someone who is actually scoring goals in a competitive league

Cucho played 77 minutes. Just an okay match. Was active and had some decent passes. No real good shots on goal though.

Deossa is now on for him.
