No idea why they've used Josh King over Cucho, Cucho may not be a world beater but they need goals and grit and Cucho offers little bit of everything.
Cucho must be used to it. The question for me is if Watford sees any reason to hold on to him, or Cucho to keep wandering at relegation teams. He should look for a way out and play in a lesser league IMHO. Mexico or Turkey could be better fits.
Well if this guy starts playing regularly in the championship and can't get 10+ goals at end of the season, then is he really worth the national team?
This guy needs to get out of Watford and play regularly. It's a shame he didn't break through there because he did look dangerous, even at Prem level, in the games I saw him get minutes, but I don't think his profile for whatever reason is what they wanted to field. I really hope the same doesn't happen to Yaser.
He was finally getting a run of games and producing this spring and then got injured, really mix of bad luck and bad form earlier in the season. Watford was a complete mess, coaches and formations were very inconsistent. He should if anything go to Serie A maybe the owners can sell or loan him to Udinese and he can get a run of games. He's gonna have a hard time playing for the national team with Sini and Diaz likely locks for wide forwards but he can still develop into decent depth if he can progress some.
Such a weird move. Like... Is Cucho dying to live in Columbus, Ohio? Sources: Columbus Crew complete the signing of Colombian international Cucho Hernandez from Watford for a club record fee just over $10 million. Contract thru 2025.Medical was a few days ago, everything signed and done. 7th most expensive signing in MLS history. pic.twitter.com/qaCiAoM79F— Tom Bogert (@tombogert) June 20, 2022
You know I’m a big MLS fan but damn I’m so disappointed with this move for cucho only because I really wanted to see this guy thrive and become a star in Europe. Dude should really fire his agent.
his agent probably getting him paid but if they paid 10 million they will want 15-20 million when they sell. No one other than a real big team will be able to do that and they aren’t going to do that for a non eu player
colombian players chose bad agents we are also a feeder league and country for the US and Mexico at least this dude is cap tied to us just in case
#GolCaracol El talentoso futbolista colombiano jugará en la MLS de los Estados Unidos. Su pase es un fichaje récord para el equipo. #ColombianosenelExterior #JuanCamiloHernández #MLS https://t.co/kQTctyEP2E— Gol Caracol (@GolCaracol) June 21, 2022 Was nice knowing you
I mean, if Arango did okay, Cucho can do better, if he really has that potential we think he has.. I don't write him off just because of MLS.
Smart Move imho....i dont imagine him having impact in Europe honestly.... his last 4 season have been so similar...not bad.....but not enough to be starter, avergae numbers...
