According to the website, Jozy scored the 10th goal of a 13-1 thrashing of the Italy based Washington Generals today.
Anyone have any strong feelings about the rumors linking Huddlestone with Sunderland? Looks like a bid of 5M pounds was accepted.
It's not a bad signing, and compared to what most teams on Sunderland's level pay for "proven" EPL players it's a bit of a bargain
I don't get why players agree to be put in that situation. Sunderland will lose money if they play him? Stupid. Not that I'm worried Jozy won't see the field, but there's nothing positive about that arrangement from a players end.
What percentage do you think is "consistent?" (and you do realize one may not play for a team before they, you know, join that team.)
Huddlestone is a good description of his mobility, I'll give you that. He gives Fat Charlie A a waddle for his money as far as immobile CM's
That's what I'm thinking. Not sure exactly why the teams really add such things into the contracts/transfers though
It's good leverage, like a sell through clause. If I give you something really good, I make more money. If he bombs, well, I won't make as much.
No idea what has happened to Huddlestone. Was a consistent starter for Tottenham then was suddenly relegated to the bench. Over the last 3 season, he has only made 30 premier league appearances. He is likely not the player he once was.
"Head coach believes Altidore is amongst the best frontmen in Europe." http://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2013/july/pdc-on-altidore-addition he is probably impressing in training, really happy to hear that
I've noticed jozy getting a lot of coverage in the press. Di canio praised him. And the SAFC twitter page always talks about him. He could be the face of this team
