On the bench for the U19s: XI-time. 📑#AjaxO19 #ajaaz pic.twitter.com/tLMEDx6GQs— AFC Ajax (@AFCAjax) January 25, 2020
Subbed in at 76', I'm confident he's is on of the best dribblers in the whole Ajax setup, also has good combination play. I feel like his strengths and weaknesses are defined at this point and his path to becoming a first team player is set if he fixes those.
yeah it’s a little older. Don’t remember when I saw that but he dates some of the footage when he is talking about his dribbling practice. “By the end of 2018 I want to be under 8 second”.
Watched this last night with my son, who stayed silent till the end. Good stuff. Good message about working hard, fixing your mistakes, giving it your all in practice. All stuff my boy needed to hear from a kid who comes across very personable. I'm a big Pynadath fan after that. Few American-born players have the moves he does...
Just want to emphasize that this site livetv.sx show these jong games and some u19 games as well. Hope he does well.

Subbed in at 80', Ajax ahead 0-1. [Mendez subbed on at 70'.] Just noticed that Pynadath turned 18 yesterday {2/20/2002}.
Assume you quoted the wrong guy, but livetv . sx is alaways the best bet although firstrowsports has less laggy streams imo. But if you are going to find a Ajax u19 game Ajax's Youtube is where you'll find it unless its a UEFA youth league game. You can probably find every one on BRlive still.
Joshua Pynadath is leaving the Ajax academy. He is highly rated by many for his abilities in the ball. I don’t particularly rate him but him leaving Ajax is noteworthy. https://t.co/PEyBs4ZqI6— David Kerr (@dkerr0118) April 9, 2020
Probably told they see no future for him. Most of academy players going out by themselves do so by joining an academy they think fits better or has better perspective. In that case it is mentioned they join another club.
He can really dribble and.... ? He's a totally one dimensional player. Had no chance at Ajax. They didn't really rate him -- he was used a filler player at U-19/Jong this year. Best for him to go somewhere new and play. Learn how to do more than dribble.
Pynadath's 2019/2020 stat line while still part of the Ajax system was a red card in 185 minutes (8 substitute appearances) with Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie. Jong Ajax were in fourth at the time of the season's cancellation. He had logged 238 minutes in the U-19 Eredivisie (4 games, 3 starts) where the Ajax U-19s were in sixth at the time of the season's cancellation after 6 games. Pynadath also picked up an assist in 545 minutes (10 games, 5 starts) with the Ajax U-19s in the U-19 Eredivisie preliminary round where the Ajax U-19s finished in fourth. Finally, he played 162 minutes in the UEFA Youth League (3 games, 2 starts in the group stage) where the Ajax U-19s reached the quarterfinals at the time of competition's current postponement.
He's from the San Jose catchment area. Playing in that system, for Almeida, wouldn't be a bad option for an 18 yr old who washed out of Ajax. If he stays in Europe, may be a good candidate to be developed by Gardner's club Helsingor in Denmark. Would be the first American there w/ potential to fulfill the vision. Will likely be in the Danish 2nd tier next season. A fair level for him right now.
I'm not sure what type of ties he/his family would have to the Bay Area anymore. They left a long time ago and moving back would be expensive as hell. I also don't take them for the type at Josh's age would make an MLS move. (I also don't think he's close to good enough yet to be an MLS player). I wonder what his next move (if any) is. I just don't see San Jose unless his parents work for a tech company they can move back to.
