An "English Week" means 3 games in 7-8 days. That's going to test Gladbach's depth - and its physios - as much as their new mindset.

Should be PT options for Reyna, off the bench at least

mindset worked again yesterday but Gladbach looked exhausted at the end... offensive play often isn't clicking at the last stage... that's the next step Polanski already announced
RB-coach at PC stated that he knew from start that there wouldn't arise much scoring opportunities given that both teams defend so well (am I dreaming? that must have been years ago that somebody stated 'Gladbach defends well' ;-)
and Scally again was a crucial part of this, since Polanski took over he definitely looks 'matured'

back three again, switched for the last minutes back to wingback when Castrop got injured
had a scoring opportunity but regretfully opted for a pass

next is the cup game on tuesday (St.Pauli) followed by Mainz on Friday (a team which shines in conference league but sucks in BuLi so far)

    p.s.: new term from media: 'shoelace-offside' ... I hate VAR :)

I don't watch him much but was very impressed with him today vs St. Pauli. He was very solid in most all his 1:1 moments, played really nice forward passes, and most impressed with his quick ball possession in really tight spaces with a knack of dribbling out of danger.

Didn't need to get forward at all, very solid on both sides of the ball from what I saw.

Picks up a YC in the 23' for delay of game when he throws the ball wayyyy up in the air to try and give himself time to get back after a throw-in decision goes against him.

It's his 5th of the season, so he'll miss BMG's next league game.

Scally starts! Gladbach (T-12th) hosting Augsburg (15th). Reyna is on the bench, unfortunately.

    And scores! the goal

as far as yank on yank violence goes, that's Noahkai banks out on the guy who cut it back in from the touch line, so he wasn't anywhere near the scrum in the box.

What is Scally playing today? Wing-back or midfield?

Looks to be playing his usual wide wing, not part of the back three.

Scally plays every minute for a mid-table BL team. He looks sharp and aggressive. He would make my 26 every day of the weak.

I think Poch likes Freeman and Arfsten better. They’ve had better moments with the USMNT under Poch. If those two, plus Dest and Jedi, are healthy, I don’t think Scally makes it.

One thought to me is that if those are your five, only Dest and Scally really play both sides, which could be an asset on a roster over a tournament. But Arfsten and Freeman have both had good years for the team, which may end the discussion.

these next couple games vs pot 1 teams will decide everything

theres different level to this and the actual measuring stick needs to be those pot 1 teams

if pochs mls pets do well vs those guys then yeah they will be on the wc roster.

im hoping poch goes all mls in at least 1 of the march gams to see how these guys handle real competition and not costa ricas c team etc

A lot of Costa Rica C-teamers play for a full strength Uruguay team, do they?
