Hopefully he was sent back to BM w/ explicit instructions to re-discover some of the courage on O that made him such an intriguing young prospect in the first place.

Solid match from Scally today with some aggressive and successful forward balls. 3-2 win and Scally was subbed out in the 90th minute - Gladbach held all their subs until the 81st minute but then used all five going into a defensive posture to hold on. Notably, played at LB.

Scally starts! Gladbach (T-9th) visiting Mainz 05 (12th) {just one point apart}. It appears as though Scally is (again) at LB with Lanier at RB.

Scally looked a bit stiff at the start, apparently, but played the full match, a 1-1 draw at Mainz.

Scally received a yellow card late in the first half, so Lanier - not to be outdone - scored an own goal early in the second half. KLeindienst then quickly scored to even things back up.

Scally starts! Gladbach visiting Eintracht Frankfurt in a DFB Cup match (Round 2). It appears as though he's at RB, with Ullrich at LB, and Lanier on the bench.

Joe's really living the life of Cherundolo. Totally overlooked despite consistently starting/performing.

If Joe #Scally plays against FC St. Pauli next Sunday, he would be the fifth Borussia player to play his 100th Bundesliga game before his 22nd birthday. What club record does the American set? #Borussia #BMG

Lousy day for Gladbach's D, losing 3-1. Briefly tightened it to 2-1 before a very good blocked shot by Scally fell to another attacker and neither Scally nor the keeper could block the second one. Frustrating outing. No good ratings for anyone on Gladbach, including Scally.

Played pretty well given his task of covering Gittens. Got beaten by him a time or two but held his own. Handed off inside priority to his teammate on the goal so not really his fault. Solid performance.

Finished 4-1 Gladbach, Scally earning a second-half yellow card, then departing at 86’, part of a triple sub. Gladbach is (surprisingly) tied for 7th, pending other results.

    Gladbach ended up winning 2-1.

I've seen it mentioned on Reddit that this is the first time that Gladbach has won 2 Bundesliga matches in a row in nearly three years.

Scally playing the second half of a friendly with NEC Nijmegen, for whom Sandler was also initially on the bench. Looks like field conditions are great from the choice of photo above. 2-2 late.
