Prediction wise I look at our home record, goals for and against, and compare that to Getafe's away record, goals against and for, and I think that we have this one. And we have 3 tough Liga fixtures plus Arsenal on Weds. so I think we rotate some.

Working backwards here's ARSENAL lineup with Pique suspended:
    MAtS
Alves-Masch-Math-Alba (I'd love to see Bartra-Masch but don't think it happens)
    R-B-I
    M-S-N

    So GETAFE with Masch suspended:
    Bravo
    Vidal-Pique-Math-Adriano
Roberto-Busi-Arda (sub on Ini for Busi and move Roberto to DM just to get Ini some minutes as he sat last game)
M-S-N (yes, rest would be good, and N just back from Brazil but cracks get to crack)

Luis should get his 5th yellow in this game as well so he does not get banned for the RM game

As others have said, Villarreal on the road is more dangerous than Real at home, however, I agree with you would rather crush Real even if it required us losing to Villarreal. Still I think Luis doesn't try to get carded here, then tries even harder not to get carded vs. Villarreal.

Sandro out with a thigh injury, expected back in 6 - 7 weeks. Samper has been training with first team this week and is expected to be part of the squad - which seems unrelated to Sandro's injury, good way to get Busquets some rest.

Yup, makes little sense to get an intentional yellow. Instead of being forced to sit him out next week, its always better to have him start on the bench (if getting a YC is really that concerning) and then he can come on if needed to maybe change the game. Or do the reverse and have him play the first, say, 55 minutes against Villarreal.

I'm always nervous when Barca players do this trick anyway because I remember at least once where the club got in trouble for a player getting an intentional yellow in the CL a few years ago. I don't think anything came of it, but when it first happened there were rumors about suspending the player for 2 matches for poor sportsmanship. :speechless:

Masch's yellow card last week looked semi-intentional, but he did a good sales job (acted all upset about being shown a yellow in the 87th minute) :sneaky:

Munir instead of Suarez AND SR as DM ..... Lucho is trying his best to screw shit up as usual but hopefully as always Messi and Neymar can come up with some magic to save his stupid ass :cautious:

Maybe he will come on as a sub? I think most of us could have predicted Busquets being rested, he tends to be rested before a Champions League match, no? No problems up front with MNM (Eminem)? Pique plays since he's suspended mid-week. I have to say that Arda hasn't been too impressive lately. I'm beginning to wonder about how he really fits in with the team. Maybe today he will get more of an offensive role seeing as Rakitic isn't starting?

Hey Munir played probably his best match at Barcelona last time out. Sure he didn't connect with Suarez on the square ball (which he definitely should have), but his only two really bad misplays happened right after he got hurt. S Roberto shouldn't have too many problems against Getafe, but overall, yes, I agree, I like Roberto not playing DM.

and don't forget , Arda is a more offensive midfielder and should be played instead of iniesta not rakitic yet Lucho keep miss-placing him and that leads to him being on the defensive alot and that risks him being given cards , add vidal to the mix and Busi not playing and this will be really hard to watch

FFS what's wrong with MSN? They stink bad from the spot. Just take them off penalty duty. This is seriously unacceptable. If there will be a penalty shoot out you can kiss that trophy good bye. [emoji35]

He is still butt-hurt about the fabricated dressing room trashing incident in the corresponding fixture on Halloween this season. He refused to meet up with the Barça delegation for customary pre-match lunch/dinner... Typical madridista...

Barca is playing the long con
They are missing penalties to save them up for the CL so the opponents have a sense of security so they will foul them more often in the area

Haha Do you believe that? Not scoring penalties during game is worse training/con ever LOL! Either CDR or CL exist will be due to MSN and their misses from the spot.
