I was just about to ask about the TV.

So the article is a step in the right direction?

I won't give my hopes up, but I will continue to hope for the best. Thank God for the new Barca Radio.

Ok, lineup time. This time, I'd take:

    ---------------Valdes
    Zambrotta-Milito-Thuram-Abidal
    ----------------Yaya
    ---------Xavi-----------Iniesta
    Messi-----------Henry--------Dinho

Athletic isn't that offensive, we could play with Iniesta instead of Deco.

    Sogecable to appeal

Besides, the last paragraph on this goal.com article explains it all.
"While the problem remains unsolved, Mediapro will be unable to distribute games overseas leaving foreign viewers without their weekly fix of Spanish football.

    Does BarcaTv online show the games live? or do we have to wait until it's available in the archives? Freakin Sogecable and Mediapro piss me off. I'm paying $114 a month for DISH looking forward to the season and this sh** happens. I brag about DISH/WorldSport all the time to my Directv buddies. Oh well. : {

Is there any way this game will be available on torrent, in a reasonable timeframe? Should i refrain from knowing the result and wait for it to become downloadable, or will there be absolutely no video feed of the match on the face of this planet?

If it's being broadcast in Spain, I imagine there will be a torrent. Of course, that depends on who is capping, but because Barca is now a huge international brand, I would bet someone out there caps it. There was last week on the same day it was played & in Spanish.

I am in the same boat. I'm paying over $100 a month for HD satellite TV just so I can watch La Liga and EPL, and it's really ticking me off that I cannot watch my favorite team because of some idiotic disagreement that should not be taking place in the first place. I've been trying to get some of my friends to watch La Liga so that they can see what a great league it is, but now they just laugh at me at the fact the league's biggest teams don't even have their games available on TV. I get games for Bundesliga, MLS, Serie A, EPL, SPL, Argentina, Mexico, and even freakin Guatemala and Colombia, yet I cannot watch the games of two of the biggest football clubs on the planet -- what a joke! This is not very good promotion for La Liga and they should be doing all they can to apply pressure to get this foolishness resolved.

Ok...so I found this. I'm not sure how reliable it's going to be, but this site is generally pretty good.

    http://www.rojadirecta.com/

Finally it seems that the production company in Spain will provide the live signal for the foreign channels.R o j a d i r e c t a . c o m Anyhow the channels have not scheduled this match so it's unsure which ones of the channels listed above will change their schedules in favour of this event. Important updated around 19:00

If you scroll down to 19:00 you will see some streaming options for the game. Obviously, we are all hoping that GOLTV will get it together, but they've remained silent on the issue. Anyhow, I hope that this works out for everyone.

    Good luck-

Looks like a decent line-up. Rafa's been playing well enough lately, but FR's probably still working on his backline rotation. So very glad Oleguer is back where he belongs.

LOL, welcome to my world of (relative) poverty. No fancy cable, so I usually have to torrent games or listen to the radio anyway, unless it's a big match-up when I try to go find it somewhere.

Edit: Usox posted at the same time so my comments are moot. And here I was all happy about no Oleguer! WTFF?! I'm ok with Rafa and Deco starting, but OLEGUER?! He even look like crap against Inter's C team.

I actually prefer the torrent to bad streaming. I try to avoid the score and then at least I can see the whole match in large format on my TV.

I thought Worldsport HD had our game this week.

    Not that I'm complaining.
    *fingers crossed*
