DCU on the road versus Miami. 7:30 PM EDT Chase Stadium, Miami Apple+ MLS Season Pass I have hope because we've played well on the road. Not great, but okay. But I'm thinking that hope will be abandoned shortly after kickoff. This could get ugly. I hope Suarez doesn't bite anyone.
I'm hoping for a game where Messi sets up player after player, but they all flub their opportunities. The Taylors regress to the MLS mean, and the Suarezes have an off day and/or the ref helps us out with a questionable and timely offside flag or two. One can hope.
If we get a lead…and given Inter’s tactics and defenders thats very possible…I’ll be interested to see how Lesesne plays with the lead. To me, against Inter, the best way to protect a lead is to keep attacking and win 5-3. If you try to win 1-0 against them, you’re doomed.
one is not supposed to be let in to the country without having had the shots. I hope we are the team with more bite tonight, and I hope to be proven wrong but I fear a repeat score line.
The longer it’s 0-0, the more I like our chances. I tend to believe Miami can’t be bothered until they sense a threat, which they won’t unless they are behind.
We're still under a weather delay at @chase_stadium. The new kickoff time will be announced when available. https://t.co/aUV1mfQlL0— Inter Miami CF (@InterMiamiCF) May 18, 2024
Dajome on the bench… finally. Santos starting. I’ll take a 4-2 loss with Messi filleting our defense and midfield.

This is gross. Just call the game and give Miami the win if every time a DC player bumps someone it's called a foul.
They have to get the idea it is okay to feed the ball to someone other than Benteke. Santos was wide open to CBs left but they dont even think about him - just fed it to CB with 2 guys on him and he promptly gave it back. Dang, that is some rain.... which is good for us! Who remembers: "It's raining, it's pouring, United keep on scoring!"
I hate Miami, and I hate these referees. But that's nothing new. I bet he has a Messi jersey under that yellow. Or Messi underoos.
