Raul return to the team but Zidane, the player that was playing better, is serious doubt. Maybe the continuous injuries of the "key" players aren't the cause of the team bad play but I am sure that it is influencing. Hierro also will be out for three weeks injured. This is a key macth. We can't lose many more points in the Bernabeu. Well, we have improved we have not received any goal. The problem is that we don't do goals not to the rainbow!!! Today played Raul, Ronaldo, Guti, Morientes result: Real Madrid 0- Real Sociedad 0 That's all folks!!! I'm not very happy today maybe tomorrow i will make a more "deep" analisys.

While the game ended 0-0 it was one of the most enjoyable 0-0 draws I've seen from a football playing standpoint. Let's get this out first, Real Sociedad is for real (hehehe- pun inteneded!). They played excellent football. They are quick, skillful, well organized and attack and defend in blocks. I give a lot of credit to their new French coach for changing how that team plays. They will not be easy opponents for anyone this year. I actually look forward to watching them play again soon. Real Madrid in my opinion didn't play a bad match. In fact it was the best game I've seen Madrid play in some time (since Ronaldo came into the lineup). Raul needs to get back into form but, especially in the first half, he showed why Madrid is a different, and more dangerous, team when he plays. Madrid played quicker than they have done recently and i think that helps explain their improved play. Still the finishing needs to improve and it is true, as Merengue said, that the team did better once Zidane, Guti and Morientes came on for Cambaisso, Solari and Ronaldo. This was a better start than recent games but at home you still expect Madrid to win. There's a series of difficult matches coming up and Madrid needs to stay focused and continue to improve their play if they are to achieve suiccess in those games. In my opinion Madrid's best players yesterday were Casillas, Roberto Carlos, Makelele and Zidane while the worst were Cambiasso, Pavon and Solari.
