So, if the contract stats in July, what does Jordan do in the mean time? Does he train with Odense or play for MLS for 6 months?

Darn, I was hoping this was about Jordan Older.

Well, good luck to Matt Jordan anyway.

The link didn't work for me, but you can go here:

    http://foxsportsworld.lycos.com/named/FSW/Index/Soccer

click "More News" and find it.

Nice article about McBride there, too, BTW.

And who's this kid on the front page of their soccer section?!? ;)

A quick review of the current Danish standings have Odense in 8th. They were in the UEFA cup this past fall, losing to Celta Vigo in the first round.

Pos. Team Pld W D L GF GA Pts
    1 FCK 18 11 5 2 30 16 38
    2 Brøndby 18 8 5 5 36 20 29
    3 Farum 18 9 0 9 26 35 27
    4 AaB 18 8 2 8 25 27 26
    5 EfB 18 6 7 5 37 36 25
    6 Midtjylland 18 6 6 6 26 23 24
    7 AB 18 5 8 5 23 20 23
    8 OB 18 6 5 7 28 26 23
    9 AGF 18 6 4 8 26 33 22
    10 Køge 18 7 1 10 30 40 22
    11 Viborg 18 5 6 7 31 35 21
    12 Silkeborg 18 4 5 9 23 30 17

There's a story on the signing at their website but I damn sure don't speak Flemish so have at it those who do.

    He said:

Im looking forward to play for a club with tradition and a long history.

the trainer says he is happy to sign a good goalkeeper that is willing to work hard. It is nice having two competent goalkeepers to chose from. The will work together fine.

And as you can see, OB has only 6 points to second place but also only 6 points to the bottom

At the risk of coming off like a Europhile snob, very few people in Denmark speak Flemish. Danes speak Danish.

Forgive my ignorance, but does FCK really go by FCK?

The link says that he'll be 2nd choice. Any chance on being first? Anyone know? Is this a good move?

Well, I guess if he was looking at a choice of being second choice in Colorado and being paid a little but being at home or being second choice in Denmark and being paid decently but being a ways from home, he opted for the money and the commute!
