Team is doing much better but not used to not having 3 in the back or 3 up front. Some passes off along with the press. Now that Zawadzki has pushed up, crew are turning the screw. Is it too late?
Small sample size against guys who aren't starters but I really like Gomes. He's never out of position, smart about picking his spots to press, and hits properly weighted throughballs. What's most impressive is how he floats effortlessly in and out of the backline as wingers and backs move. If he sustains this, it papers over a lot of issues until moves can be made.
Nordecke Capos already set a record ... 7 minutes in the second half ... for the number of Dale! Dale! chants in one game.
He's singlehandedly allowing the semblance of a plan to take shape. The rest of this roster is anemic. So naturally, here comes Chambost in to replace him.
Gomes had some nice touches, but... Nashville still has a higher xG despite having 40% possession. I didn't exactly see a game changer there.
A CDM by definition isn't supposed to be a game changer or goal scorer. He's supposed to be a stabilizer. This roster lacks any game changers, that's the problem.
This team might be trying to go for the team record of ties this year. Because they arent going to win much at all.
Having a birthday party and the sound is turned down. All I hear is Doran saying "Jeeminy Pete's!!" over and over again in my mind.
