The YA Bundesliga battle royale. I assume Jones and Williams will start for their respective clubs. I'm not quite sure about Johnson.

    Go Schalke! :D

So is Johnson out there? How do I recognize him? My stream only has crowd noise.

Jones having some ankle problems. It looks like they're going to tape it up.

Schalke are in on goal, but the offside flag goes up. One of the worst calls I've ever seen in a professional match. Draxler was a solid 3 or 4 meters on side.

Almost goes without saying. We should have a short version of that: JJYC?

Schalke with goals in the 73rd and 76th minutes to take a 3-1 lead.

    Johnson on in the 78th

    Schalke won 3-1

Williams picked up a 89th minute yellow card. His only other mention in the match tracker was for an attempt to clear the third goal off the line.

Jones went the distance as well. His only mention of note, besides the card, was for winning the ball midfield in the 51st minute and releasing Farfan for a counter that died in the attacking third.

All the Yanks played really well today. Jones picked up a slight knock on his ankle, but it didn't look too serious.

I'm seriously impressed with the quality of play in the Bundesliga this season. It continues to improve at a rapid pace. Almost every game I've watched has been a thing of beauty.

I agree completely. Comparing to to the Serie A would be unfair right now.......for Serie A. Theres a bunch of damn good teams in the BL this year.

Jones reveived a "3", Williams a 3.5". Johnson came in too late to be rated.
