In my "All Football" app, he was listed as an LWB.

Not much to write home about in that one for Gomez. I would kind of be surprised if he chose the US. It is why I don't really follow Dual Nats any longer.

FTR looks like he played today for RS, as a sub. Sure hope he chooses the US because I think his ceiling is higher than all our LBs not named ARob.

I am not holding my breath. I too hope he chooses us but I expect him to choose Mexico.

Any particular reason for that belief?

I certainly don't keep my head in the sand when it comes to them. Especially when it comes to high ceiling guys like Gomez.

Because when it comes to Dual Nats it is better to expect the worst and be wrong than hope for the best and be disappointed.

Gomez has played the dual nat process perfectly. He has played for both youth teams and now for both MNT teams. But Mexico was the last NT he played for and transfermrkt lists Mexico as his primary country.... so I am guessing he chooses El Tri.

His ceiling is higher than ARob’s. Win some, lose some.

I don't have any idea what he'll choose but I don't think there's any indication he's leaning Mexico (or vice versa).

He's been testing out both to see where he's most comfortable (as he should). We'll find out what he picks, but we don't really have anything to go off in terms of how he's leaning.

That was a B team game. 15 minutes in the Segunda. Doesn't mean he's not a prospect, but not earth-shattering, either.

That could be the sub-title for the YA flavor of the week thread.

Played 908' in 14 games this season, mainly as a LB. Got relegated (#11 YA).
