watching jolley for the metros, i seriously think he can fit that llamosa role of back up central defender behind pope and boca. (plus he can do those silly flip throws)

so far he's haveing a great season

They should try Di Giamarino at left back also.

Last year, when both Jolley and Petke were on the Scum, I thought Jolley was the better defender, more solid. I think Jolley is of a caliber where if the US is going with an all-MLS squad, he should be called into camp, and if he impresses, make the bench and gets in the game late.

Yeah, I've got to agree. If not a call-up, he at least deserves to be consistently monitored.

Maybe this is not the place to say this, but I'll say it anyway: The Metrostars are a blast to watch.

Jolley has had a great season for the Metros and deserves a few call-ups for the NATs. The Metros have I think the second best defense in the league, why not have Pope and Jolley as our center defenders? Arena did that when D.C. was the best in the league. The US defense was Agoos, Pope, Llmaosa and Sanneh.

I don't like Di Giamarino because he has always been very reckless. I can see him get sent off in central American from doing something stupid.

Jolley is as good as Agoos in 98. He is worth a look

They should try Jolley at right back. This way he can start. He might play there against Dallas. USMNT have to get a right back with some size. Sanneh is getting older and more injured.

Can you tell us how good is Jolley at joining or contributing to the attack?

I agree, would like to see Jolley get a trial. Yes, Pope and Boca probably have the two center spots down, but Pope and Berhalter will be 33 (?) in 2006, and we need to create depth against injuries.
