I move that we change the policy that puts managers in top leagues into ya academy. Instead, we should put them into the main yanks abroad forum. If there's no objection, we can just change the policy by unanimous consent

Not sure if any of these posts above are intended to suggest that Rocha is a lesser passer than the alternatives at the dual sex position. None of them actually say that, so perhaps not. He didn’t have a great game today for sure. But none of those posts change my understanding that he is there because Jesse believes that he provides better connections to the front line then Tyler can provide, or than Forshaw can.
He started the season off pretty well.... but it seems like he tries too hard to make the unreal forward pass or run in the box which hasn't panned out for a while now. Essentially after trying to do too much for several games and then after that disaster performance against MC his confidence is really low.... and that half today won't help. Oddly enough it is Adams that has continued to get better moving the ball to his forward players in transition. Roca needs to take a step back... focus on D and completing higher % passes so he can get his confidence back. Leeds are super thin at CDM so they are going to need him down the stretch.
I did not notice a difference in the number of intercepted forward passes in the midfield from the second half to the first. There was an incredibly high number of uncompleted passes by Leeds as a team. For the second game in the row. On the other hand, some of it might have something to do with the opponents.
He's better than the rest but I don't think he's all that good at it. He's one of the higher-priority upgrades for them next summer IMO. But also, Thank you for that.
Adams was so annoying to play against today. Physical without fouling, pitch coverage, taunting/gamesmanship. At the heart of Leeds’ ugliness. Did have a few nice passes too.
Hands up: if Leeds got rid of both Cooper and Aiyling in the January window, how many think Adams is named captain? (Never mind that Adams just came to Leeds two seconds ago.)
Everything that won’t show up in the stat sheet he brought. Lots of things wrong and/or missing still with this team, but what you described is exactly why him being out for Man City made such a difference. Not that it would’ve changed the outcome (or maybe so?), but he just has such a presence on the pitch in so many ways for this team. Having been to Leeds recently it is definitely appreciated by the base, irrespective of everything else with results, Jesse, Biesla legacy, etc….
Appretiating that you are always such an outstanding poster I googled it for you as my NY present. https://www.google.com/search?q=dua...69i57.14644j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#ip=1
From what I’m reading, Leeds fans are not happy with Tyler’s constant passing back to the keeper instead of progressing the ball forward. And they have a point, multiple times today he has had a ton of space in which to turn and play forward, and instead has passed back to the CBs or Meslier almost every time. I think if he adds the ability to turn and pick out a pass, he’s a top 10 DM in the world. He does a lot of other things very well.
Sorta. It’s just kind of reactionary fan / be mad at everything stuff. They have a point but then they’ll say stuff like “Adams is pure class” and “our 5’8” CM is the only player who can put in a proper tackle”, etc. He’s far ahead in most MOTM votes in a Leeds fan forum over the course of the season. He was good today. Agree he made some unnecessary back passes.
Like Musah or Williamson? He needs to do shoulder check before receiving the pass. Otherwise he doesn’t know he has the space behind.
