Johnny Walker visits the Metrostars

I think this is a good news. I saw Johnny play a few time. He is as good as most MLS keeper. Good luck Johnny, I hope you get the job.

 

They better sign him.

Then they need to have "Johnny Walker" night with free bottles of scotch to all who attend.

 

I just hope he doesn't slump, so we don't have to see any "Johnny Walker's Black Label" or "Johnny Walker on the Rocks" headlines.

 

Jack Daniel isn't bad either.

 

Either way, you'll be getting "Taylor Twellman takes a double shot of Johnny Walker, scoring on the rebound" photo captions. Then again, if we get Joe, you'll see "DC United will be gunning for Cannon at RFK this weekend...". Uggh.

On the plus side, the away game drinking game options are endless, starting with every save he makes, we do shots. "Our defense was crap that day but I got so plastered I can hardly remember..."

I hope we sign him. I know he wants to be in the states and he's played in pressure matches in S. America that Cannon hasn't for whatever that's worth. (though Cannon did win an mls cup which is as pressure as any metro keeper will see anyway).

Walker is much better than Cannon. Hope you guys get him for the MetroStars. You'll be happy with him.
