I'm seeing some sources reporting that Raus, a 1984 from Connecticut and Seton Hall U., is now playing in Poland with LKS Lomza. Having some trouble finding my way around the club's site as I don't read Polish, but this seems to be legit as his name turns up in some match reports. Can anyone confirm?
Google it, man.Google it. I just did it. http://www.lks.4lomza.pl/strona.php?idStrona=27&PHPSESSID=690953ea3301ce1f857f274c80fd34a8 http://www.lks.4lomza.pl/sklad/raus.php
This shows commitment because Lomza is a pit in the ground in the middle of a landfill. I've driven through there many times. There is hoping Johnny's good enough to go to a better team in a more attractive location.
I noticed that he now has 10 appearances (1 start) for LKS Lomza in the 2. Liga. He scored once, but is averaging just 27 minutes as a late game substitute. It appears that he is getting more playing time recently as his start was on Oct. 3 and he played the entire 2nd half on Oct. 14. Hopefully he works his way into the starting eleven soon.
I don't read Polish, but it looks like Raus has transferred to Jagiellonia Bialystock of the Polish first division during the winter break. You can see him listed here as arriving from LKS Lomza: http://www.90minut.pl/transfery.php I found another article in Polish that suggests he trialed at Jagiellonia in late November, so it seems reasonable that he completed a move.

Got a little time in a reserve match vs Long Island of the PDL: New York Red Bulls: Caleb Patterson-Sewell (GK), John Gilkerson, Carlos Mendes, Hunter Freeman, Kevin Mesa, Sinisa Ubiparipovic, Gordon Kljestan*, Roy Castro* (Adauto Neto* 31’), John Raus* (Richie Williams* 60’), John Wolyniec (David Roth 46’), Chris Megaloudis But doesn't look like he made the team.
